Kuvaus: Rakennettu suunniteltu ja sisustettu kuvanveistäjä & taidemaalari, "la Bolina" on ainutlaatuinen, romanttinen loma kokemus. Se on paritalo, joka on huolellisesti suunnitellut sama omistaja maksimoida yksityisyyttä molemmat ominaisuudet.
Jokainen yksityiskohta talossa on käsitelty taidetta, kiillotettu betoni, puu ja kivi upotekoristeinen lattioihin käsi sisustettu ruostumattomasta teräksestä ja lasista suihku. Suuri osa huonekaluista ja kaikki Veistokset ja maalaus tehdään taiteilijoita. Talo sijaitsee juurella Almijara vuoret, jotka ovat osa Sierra Nevadan alueella. Se näyttää koko oliivi-ja viinitarhoja Frigiliana kalkittu vuoristokylässä & Nerja Välimeren rannikolla. Malagan lentokentälle on alle tunnin päässä, ja Granadassa on vain 100 km päässä Nerja. On epätavallisen muotoinen musta uima-allas, joka vie 360º henkeäsalpaavia näkymiä. Kivi grilli näkymät uima-allas ja alati muuttuva ulkona nykyajan veistos.

Tilanne: la Bolina "istuu jyrkkä juurella Almijara vuoren luonnonsuojelualue & välillä kolme kylää, Torrox, Frigiliana & Nerja. Tiet ovat tuulinen ja kapeita, upeat näkymät sekä vuorille ja merelle. Granada, joka tarjoaa Alhambra maurien Palace & Sierra Nevadan hiihtokeskus on tunti ja puoli ajomatkan päässä. Cordoba & Sevilla kaksi tuntia. Olemme myös tarpeeksi lähellä Marokko voidakseen viettää päivä Tangerin.

Frigiliana: Frigiliana on kaunis kalkittu vuoristokylä 6 km. rannikkokaupunki Nerja. Vanhankaupungin juontaa foinikialaiset, kapeita mukulakivikatuja tuuli välillä valkoinen rivitalo maurien taloa. Kylä istuu reunalla vuoren varanto, joka tarjoaa monia ihania kävelyretkiä. Molemmat kaupungit tarjoavat lukuisia ravintoloita, baareja ja muita huvituksia.


Winter: Lokakuusta huhtikuuhun on aina mahdollisuus sade, mutta nyt mahdollisuus se on niin etäinen, että olemme tulleet siihen tyytyväinen, kun se tekee. Se on täydellinen aika vuodesta niille, jotka nauttivat vuorilla, kävely tai tutustuen ympäröiviin kaupunkeihin ja kaupungit. Granadan Alhambra, Sevillan ja Cordoban löysä sietämätön lämpöä kesällä ja olet turistikohteissa pohjimmiltaan oman itsensä. Joulu ja uusivuosi ovat yleensä aurinkoinen ja kaikki ravintolat ovat auki, vaikka useimmat työtä varaus juhlava yötä. Espanjan juhlia uutta vuotta kadulla, se alkaa upeat ilotulitukset jokaisessa kaupungissa, Town & Village & juhlat jatkuu pitkälle seuraavaan aamuun. Kevät täällä alkaa helmikuussa manteli kukka & keltainen apila että linja teillä. Se on hyvä aika käydä pikku kylistä alueemme & Alpujarrassa vuoristossa etelään Granada. Jos olet osaksi hiihto, Sierra Nevada on kuuluisa rinteet ja on alle 2 tunnin päässä.

My husband and I spent a week at la Bolina in early September. It was wonderful - the house is well-kept, quirky, comfortable and equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The art in and around the house is incredible and we loved 'discovering' new pieces each day during our stay (I think I came home with about 100 photos just of the art)! The directions to the house were absolutely vital in helping our journey in the hire car from Malaga airport and it's no joke to say we'd have been hopelessly lost without them - in fact, we DID get hopelessly lost one day out and about coming home from Frigiliana, but that's entirely on us! Rob, Maggie & Timsam were always on hand if we needed anything and are fantastic hosts. The area around la Bolina is beautiful, peaceful and interesting: we visited Frigiliana, Nerja and Acebuchal during our stay, as well as enjoying time just cooking and relaxing at the house. The week went all-too quickly and we'll definitely be back!

The last 12 months for us has been terrible culminating in the loss of two parents passing within 2 weeks of each other. This place was just what we needed to rest and relax, take in the views and the total tranquility of the place. Having the beautiful pool on hot days was perfect. Seriously the photos would never do it justice and in reality the views are stunning. The drive up to the property is challenging but if you take your time and drive carefully it’s very achievable even in a small Fiat 500😊. The personal art of the talented owner’s throughout the property and gardens was really special and made the feel even more luxurious. Communication with the owners was great and they were on hand although we didn’t need anything. In summary a stunning place and would highly recommend.

We stayed in this beautiful house for five nights and we truly enjoyed the space, the view, the pool and the art works. This is a unique property and we felt privileged to be there. The morning light is beautiful and the view is spectacular.

Sehr ruhig und schön gelegenes Anwesen in den Hügeln hinter Torrox. Das Haus ist sehr schön rustikal und künstlerisch eingerichtet. Alles etwas spartanisch, aber es ist alles notwendige vorhanden. Man muss den rustikalen Stil mögen, sonst könnte man hiervon enttäuscht sein. Der Außenbereich ist sehr schön und Ruhig, man ist hier wirklich für sich und hat keine Störenden Nachbarn. Der Pool war allerdings kleiner als es auf den Fotos aussieht. Was bei dem Anwesen wichtig zu erwähnen ist, was mir vorher so nicht bewusst war ist der Weg dorthin. Zwar dachte ich mir dass es etwas über einen Schotterweg gehen wird, aber die Realität sieht dann doch etwas anders aus… Man braucht gute 10 min vom Ende der normalen Straße bis zum Haus. Diese 10 min sind eine reine Buckelpiste, bestehend aus Schotterwegen, miserabel Straßenstücken oder teilweise einfach erdige Wege. Hier geht es am steilen Abhang vorbei, alles sehr eng, sehr kurvenreich und teilweise ohne ausweichmöglichkeiten. Bei Gegenverkehr kann es gut sein, dass man einmal ein ganzes Stück rückwärts bergauf oder bergab fahren muss, um irgendwie eine Stelle zum ausweichen zu finden. Alles ziemlich abenteuerlich…. Wem das alles nichts ausmacht, der hat mit diesem Anwesen ein paar ruhige Tage vor sich. Zusammengefasst, bis auf die abenteuerliche Anfahrt habe ich wenig auszusetzen, aber gerade darauf finde ich sollte man deutlicher aufmerksam gemacht werden

Nachdem wir 2022 bereits eine Woche auf diesem wunderschönen Anwesen verbringen durften, haben wir 2023 jetzt noch mal knapp zwei Wochen dort verbracht. La Bolina ist eine Perle wie man sie so schnell kein zweites Mal findet. Rob, der Vater von Timsam ist ein wundervoller Gastgeber der bei Fragen oder Problemen sofort zur Stelle ist und einem hilft. Alles weitere kann man in unserer Bewertung auch 2022 lesen. Wir werden bestimmt ein weiteres Mal die Unterkunft buchen.

My wife and I went to "La Bolina" for our late honeymoon (Corona and then kids delayed everything a bit...). It is really an amzing scenery. The view from the pool is fantastic. The house itself has everything that you need. We cooked almost every night at home. Timsam is also a great host and was very responsive. There was a problem with the internet but it was fixed really quickly. I would def. recommend to stay here. Maybe in a few years we will come back for a break from family life ;-)

Just what the doctor ordered. Peace quiet, total tranquility and a great pool to boot. The views were spectacular always changing as the sun moved over the 24hours. Sunset on the mountains was impressive. The host struck a real healthy balance of care and attention, pool maintenance, clean bedding for week 2, without being ever present,, lovely balance we thought. Excellent Villa and location

Nous avons adoré notre séjour. La vue est époustouflante. La maison est confortable, agréable, très bien décorée. Les oeuvres d'art se marient à merveille avec la nature. Probablement un des meilleurs endroits que nous avons loué à date. Je le conseille à tout point de vue. Une merveille.

La Bolina is a cozy house with a very unique character. We loved the sculptures and artworkes throughout the house and garden. The view from the garden is superb and makes you want to hang out in the garden to read, chill, and relax and end the day with a barbecue. It would be great to have additional shaded seating options in the garden, such as on the terrace or within the garden itself, as the sun can be quite intense during the day, even in March. We enjoyed Frigiliana, and our trips to Malaga, the Alhambra, and the park El Torcal. We wouldn't necessarily recommend Torrox and Nerja since they're very crowded and touristy (which Frigiliana is, too, but in a nicer way). Overall, we enjoyed our stay in La Bolina very much. We did one week of vacation and one week of "workation", and were also very happy with the internet connection. Thank you for having us at this beautiful place!

Die 11 Tage, die wir hier verbrachten, waren für uns und vor allem für unseren Hund Traumferien 1. Klasse. Kiro konnte hier oben mit dem Hund der Vermieter stundenlang herumtoben. Das Gelände ist weitläufig und natürlich braucht man ein Auto - man kann jedoch auch gut mal 1-2 Tage hier oben verweilen. Das Haus bietet viel Umschwung und zahlreiche Plätze zum Verweilen.

Traumhafte Unterkunft in den Bergen von Torrox. Die Anfahrt ist zwar ein wenig holprig (einen SUV ist zu empfehlen) aber dafür wird man mit einer Unterkunft belohnt wie man sie so schnell kein zweites Mal findet. Man merkt direkt dass dieser Ort von einem Künstler mitten auf einem Berghang erschaffen wurde. Rob der Vater von Timsam ist ein sehr netter Mensch! Die Kommunikation mit Timsam war tadellos, bei Fragen bekamen wir meist zügig eine Antwort. Alles in der Unterkunft funktionierte wunderbar, die Ausstattung ist vollständig und wir hatten keinen Probleme. Der Pool mit seiner Aussicht ist sicherlich das Highlight der Unterkunft, wir nutzen ihn täglich mehrfach. Positiv ist, dass Wasser ist optimal von der Qualität und nur sehr wenig gechlort. Im laufe des Aufenthalts bekamen wir mehrfach Besuch von dem Labrador Tobi der zur Familie der Besitzer gehört, Tobi ist total lieb, respektvoll und nicht aufdringlich und lässt sich gerne Streicheln. Der nächste größere Supermarkt ist in ca. 25 Minuten mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Zum Flughafen Málaga ist man eine Stunde unterwegs. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder! Got to be the most stunning Villa I have ever stayed in , views are even better when there couldn’t stop looking! Comfy bed and nice shower, perfect for a little getaway from it all. Couple of things to know before going though, don’t leave anything on the side ants will find it and get in so make sure everything in the fridge! But once you know this there’s no problem with them 🙃 also don’t leave you bin bags outside as there’s a fox that will tear them up for you to clean in the morning. Wish we knew this before going but nevertheless would highly recommend to anyone! Thanks for an amazing stay!

Initially booked pre- pandemic and moved twice, our stay at La Bolina was definitely worth the wait. The accommodation was spotless and beautifully furnished, and had everything we needed for a short stay. The relaxing, peaceful environment and the perfect weather made for a very memorable break…. Un sitio con unas vistas maravillosas en la cual hay una casita con mucho encanto y una piscina de ensueño. Estuvimos muy tranquilos con nuestro perrito y desconectamos en todo momento, sin duda lo recomiendo y volveremos. Lo único a tener en cuenta es que hay que ir provisionado ya que está alejado, aún así, la casa tenía de todo.

Hemos disfrutado muchísimo en este alojamiento. Todo cuidado hasta el más mínimo detalle, la casa preciosa tanto en diseño como en decoración. Y qué decir del jardín y su piscina... de 10, no queriamos salir de casa. El único pequeño inconveniente es el camino, pero totalmente asumible para poder disfrutar de las vistas y la tranquilidad que da estar en mitad de un barranco. Seguro que repetiremos.
