”Stayed for a few days whilst helping child move from one uni accom to another. Hottest weekend of the year and really happy that apartment (superior 2 bed) had climate control. Made for a really welcome respite from heat of the day. Very well equipped kitchen. Towels provided of a very decent size. Beds on the soft side for our taste. Would say bring an eye mask as bedroom blinds are not blackout! Some hooks on back of shower room doors would be handy. Exceptionally clean! Would stay again.”

”It was perfect for what we were after. A night in Southampton before getting an early ferry. Location for that. The staff were all extremely helpful and friendly. Really helped make the stay. Only thing we would change would be a fan in the room, as widows didn't open much to get air flow. That said it was one of the hottest nights of the year. ”

”We had another apartment booked, but 4 days before our holiday it became unavailable due to maintenance issues so we had alternative accommodation offered. On arrival there was beer bottles and rubbish all over the car park entrance. ”The apartment was satisfactory, was in a great location and our stay was quiet and event free. The only downside was the smell in the entire unit, of sewer gas, especially in the bathroom. Also, a light was burnt out in the bathroom, making it very dark. Otherwise, it was good for a night or two but probably not much longer.”

”The host never responded to any communications. I tried calling, SMS, email and hotel.com chat. The agent also tried to contact them unsuccessfully. I had to wait until 4pm on the day of arrival before the agent agreed to re-book. After that I then had to wait for hotels.com to respond. Gave up and asked for a refund. These people will leave you oit of pocket, on the street, in the dark. Dangerous and unethical practice especially for lone female travellers.”

”It is listed as having a dryer and it does NOT have a dryer and this is why I booked this place as we needed to do laundry. It is not very clean, their house cleaner needs to do a much better job with cleaning. The entrance to the complex is filthy and needs serious cleaning and sweeping which does not give a good first impression. Also the train is SO loud and will keep you up all night. ”
