”Below average as is not only outdated but smelly. We had 2 rooms and one could not be used to shower as the place was poorly designed and the shower water run out of the bathroom towards the room’s floor. there was no bath/edge to contain the water in the shower area. There are weird steps inside the room, catching my toes every time I walked to the toilet. There were drilling noises coming from next door at midnight. The staff said there was nothing they could do. Didn’t even offer to change...

”The hotel is located in a very good location, with the high street a few minutes walk away. The room itself in terms of size and contents was fine too. I've downgraded my score because of hot water issue and the WiFi. The WiFi was terrible. It felt like my room was on the very edge of the signal and it kept cutting off or speed was so slow. It was fast if you went to the reception area. And hot water would take such a long time to come. I had to shower with Luke warm water after leaving the...

”Climate here was cold and damp and so was my room. There’s a funky stove in the room but with no thermostat you can’t run it all night. Very little hot water, and you couldn’t rely on it working when you needed it. Breakfast was just ok. Coffee like dishwater. The place has potential- charming decor and public spaces. Staff very friendly and helpful. I got by but not comfortably. ”
