”We stayed one night in a very traditional Japanese temple Jokiin at Koyasan mountain. What an experience! We had the priviledge of attending the morning ceremony performed by local monks. Staff was extremely friendly and we enjoyed our stay at Jokiin. Looking forward to our next visit :) Highly recommend!”

”We had a great stay. Unfortunately, we were a bit late for breakfast choices, but they already informed us to be early if we wanted a good breakfast selection. Service was amazing, the room was clean, and the location so close to the station was perfect. Would recommend Kii hotel to others. ”

”It was truly an amazing experience. At first please note that this is not a traditional hotel, but a active temple which hosts travellers. My room was traditional room with a tatami floor and shared bathroom. Room and bathroom were both clean and nice. The atmosphere in the temple was calm and quiet throughout my whole stay. Food that was served was amazing. It was also interesting to follow the morning service and the fire ritual. ”

”Dit is een werkelijk prachtige oude Ryokhan, een absolute aanrader als je met de auto reist. Heel erg mooi gebouw en erg goed eten. De eigenaar was erg aardig. Goed te combineren met een wandeling in Odaigahara.”

”Wonderful stay. Lovely kaiseki dinner. The staff were super attentive and friendly. The hot spings were clean and very relaxing after a long day walking and driving. Oh and the view from the room in the morning across the valley was stunning”

”We were warmly welcomed to Manseirou after 4 days of hiking the Kumano Kodō. The hotel was clean and peaceful and the onsen was perfect for soaking away the soreness from the hike. We had an excellent breakfast at the hotel and a nice view of the harbor.”
