”We were so impressed with this little motel! The rooms were so spacious, clean and very well maintained. The pool looked very clean and inviting, the pool lights at night made the place look like as resort. Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent place for a short stopover and great value for money!”

”Convenient location quite close to Palmer St restaurants and attractions at the harbour. Our room had a kitchenette with utencils, microwave, fridge, dishwasher etc. and there was a laundry machine and a dryer. The Oaks M is located behind the Metropolitan hotel, and is not easy to see from the street. It even features a (fairly typical) gym, which has dumbbells up to 20 kg, though. Security level of the building is above average. Some members of the staff had a very loud conversation early in...

”The pictures on the site are misleading. There are probably some units that are More updated than others. I got one that definitely did not match the pictures with very old fashioned. It is partially remodeled but the remodelling has been done hastily and with a very low budget. Old fixtures have been painted over. The lighting is horrible, like in a hospital. On the plus side, perfect location and convenient parking. Also it was clean. It’s passable for a one night stay”

”Lower floors can hear the noise on the street. Ask for or book higher room. Excellent staff and food is very good. Great location close to super market and some great restaurants ”

”Had to wait for the room to finish being serviced before we could enter - 1/2 hour. No milk in the fridge, had to fetch it myself. the directional blades of the air conditioner were broken and missing. The light fitting over the single bed was missing, just a sharp piece of metal sticking out of the bedhead. The catch on the shower door was not sealing and the floor became awash.”

”The room was clean, but oh so tired. The sheer curtain was ripped, but we had the blackout curtains closed most of the time anyway. The bathroom door could do with some attention, and maybe an exhaust fan? However, considering the price, it served it's purpose, didn't affect our stay, and wouldn't stop us staying there again. ”

”We were disappointed when we arrived and learnt our room was not even on the Main Street that faces the marina. We were off the back street, obviously next to permanent residents. Our room was smelly, with old and damaged furniture. The pictures on Expedia are misleading as we had no view, we had old damaged furniture, and we were off the back road and nowhere Palmer Street. ”

”Paras hostelli, jossa olen koskaan ollut. Toki näkyi myös hinnassa - kahden hengen ensuite oli aika samoissa huokeiden hotellien kanssa. Siisti ja nätti huone, hyvä sänky ja vuodevaatteet. Ainoa miinus siitä, että kylpyhuone tuoksahti hieman viemärille. Parempi wifi kuin aussihotelleissa keskimäärin.”
