”Fitness center was a joke with only a recumbent bike and elliptical, with nothing to clean any of the machines. Beds were uncomfortable, coffee shop didn’t open until 7am, one of the restaurants was closed the entire time we were there, but it was a place to sleep.”

”We had our one year old with us and forgot to bring milk. I sent my husband to the convenience store to get some, the guy at the front desk stopped him, went to the kitchen, and gave us a whole gallon. What a treat to have staff that go above and beyond. The cleaning staff was very friendly as well. They don’t serve breakfast on the weekend until later so I was really bummed we didn’t get breakfast seeing how I searched my hotels based on breakfast included.”

”Recently upgraded, new beds, fresh paint and carpets. Very nice, except for the yapping dogs across the hall.”

”Rooms are very clean, staff is always helpful, Deliscia at the bar is ALWAYS a pleasure to see, she is a wonderful person with a great personality. I stay at this Holiday Inn every time I am in Cedar Falls. The only complaint I have is that this hotel should offer FREE breakfast especially considering the room rates, I have stayed at other hotels around the country that were just as nice that offer complimentary breakfast with your stay and they were better breakfasts than what you charge for at...

”The Black Hawk is a very cool, super vintage hotel that is beautifully maintained. It’s like stepping back in time except it’s functional in today’s world. Great bar and pastries in the morning. We’ve already booked our room on the way to Sioux Falls and back.”

”Our room was smokeless but it still smelt like smoke… the Fridge wasn’t fully cleaned… & the cabinets were a bit old & bear up. But I felt safe since they lock the front doors at 8pm. The staff was welcoming, which is so nice with a late check in (10pm). It worked for what we needed.”

”This hotel is absolutely disgusting. Do not stay here. Dirty floors, dirty bathrooms, stains on the bedding. The whole building smells like cat urine. No air conditioning. I spent a total of 30 minutes in my room and then left and found a different hotel. The property did not feel safe or sanitary. Also the front desk lies and says they will refund you online and then when you go online to get said refund they refuse it and claim they never said they would refund the money.”

”Need to provide small milk cartons and NOT a pitcher of milk! Very unsanitary!! YUK!!! Better selection of different yogarts. Went for breakfast at 7:00 am and only three yogarts left to select from. A screwdriver was left in our bathroom so we could open and close sink drain with it. The bathroom door wouldn't close do to the door not fitting in frame. I was NOT impressed with Hampton Inn this time and have stayed there more than a dozen times over the last six years.”
