Communication problems and linens issues
The biggest problem that we had was that I missed the code to enter the property sent by the Evolve Team, probably because I was looking for an email from VRBO. I wrote to VRBO the day before and said I needed the access code and within a day I was sent a 6 digit code. I had rented this same property last year and the code then only had 4 digits. I wrote back to ask why VRBO sent me a 6 digit code. I missed the property owner's phone number because it was also in the email from the Evolve Team. I received no reply from VRBO until the next morning and there was no answer given to my question, only that they were sorry for the delayed response. I tried contacting VRBO again and was directed to the VRBO app. The app utilized AI which did not respond to my written question only referred me to nearby properties available for rental. By that time I had found the code from last year and it worked! The property was fine although there were no pillowcases to put on the pillows once they were removed from the shams. The sofa bed had no top sheet and one of the beds upstairs had flannel sheets in June, (temperatures were in the 90’s). One of the fitted sheets did not fit on the mattress in another room due to the smaller size of the mattress topper. There were clothes left in a dresser from a previous guest. The biggest issue once we were able to access the property had to do with the bedding, All linens were apparently locked up in the linen closet, so we had no access.
