”Lovely, quiet place, close to very beautiful scenery and authentic Portuguese rural experience. Loved the burros! But like most pools in Portugal, too cold to use. Not sure why no one installs solar water heaters on a nearby roof top to heat the pool as it would be fairly inexpensive investment. Also wonder why most of all shower enclosures in Europe leak water onto the floor.”

”Great views and peaceful location. Not all the services were available (reception, bar) since it was not the high season. The staff was nice but unfortunately did not speak english. Anyhow a nice stay and good breakfast. Without a car the distances are a bit too much, but if you have a car it is easy to approach and get around.”

”This accommodation has a lot of potential. The pool is great. The apartments are really large and clean. There are a few restaurants on the property that no longer function except to serve special events which is unfortunate because it’s in the middle of the country with nothing closeby. The office is a mile away from the accommodation. Google maps does not lead you directly to the office. The people running the place are very nice & helpful.
