âI stayed 5nights in the cottage recently with my son & husband, it was truly great, the rooms are exactly like in the photos; it is clean and cosy with comfy beds; everything works (heating, good shower pressure, fridge, oven & smart TV). The cottage's central location is perfect for day trips e.g to Brecon Beacon's Pen y Fan, The Four Waterfalls, Caerphilly and Cardiff to name a few. âThe room smells clean as you come in, always a great start. Spotlessly clean. Rooms are ensuite with a little kitchen area, all decorated differently. We had a little table to eat at as well. Chocolates and home made Welsh cakes with milk in the fridge was a nice touch. Self check in with a pin code key box. Building felt secure. Great views of the hills from the top room. Street parking available just outside the front door. A couple of convenience stores very close. Great location for visiting...

âFrom the minite we arrived we found the staff to be ftiendly, polite and helpful.
On site car parking available.
Rooms are excrllent. Ours had a lovely balcony view over bay.
Food at breakfast was very good with excellent hot and cold choices.
We tried the sauna and hot yub on 2 days before brekfast and found them really relaxing.
I would highly recommend this hotel. We will be retutning.â

âEnjoyed 1 night at The Bear Hotel and found it to be extremely welcoming and comfortable. Greeted with a warm smile and a friendly face. Happy to change our room without any fuss or incovenience.
Had a good quality meal in the restaurant. Food was tasty and the staff here also happy and efficient.
We loved the location and would definitely stay again if in the area.
