”New Bern is a hidden gem! Incredible history, architecture, gardens, shopping, dining, etc. Try Persimmon's restaurant on the water. The brand new staff at Tryon Riverfront weren't helpful at problem solving room issues. Food fantastic (especially gluten free sweet potato pancakes) but expect to wait awhile.”

”Literally nothing about the place is worth the cheap price. Be ready for roaches galore, loud neighbors and staff that’s more concerned about kicking you out and doubling their money on a room than any kind of “service”. The “pet friendly” motel waited 36 hours to decide to enforce their pet deposit and fees and when we told them the desk never told us about any such charges immediately called the police and had us put out.
PAY A FEW EXTRA DOLLARS AND GO ELSEWHERE !!!! Trust me”

”Such a great retro motel! All the decorations were reminiscent of the 70s but in a super cool way. The rooms were simple bit modern. We loved this place! It was like stepping back in time when everything was just a bit simpler, more relaxed, and all around better! Will definitely stay here again!”

”Just got back yesterday from our stay at the Clarion Hotel, the hotel lobby is very beautiful, the marble floors are state-of-the-art, it appears that a lot of thought was put into the design of the lobby.The hotel staff was very friendly. When pulling up to the hotel, it was aesthetically very pleasing.
The breakfast was great, it would have been nice to have an alternative meat since we don’t eat pork, but otherwise than that, it was wonderful plenty of choices of things to eat, from cereals,...
