”Hummingbirds, right at my doorstep! Hummingbird garden Appreciative I had been upgraded by Alamo with a 4 x 4, taking me to the top of the mountain. I am in decent shape. I preferred walking the paths at the top of the mountain having ridden to those trail heads. This includes parking at the top and walking down to the overlook platform beautiful fuse So much cooler 10 to 15° perfect hiking weather never above 70°F and contrast with my days by the coast not humid not hot Bug spray would’ve...

”Our villa was a pleasant surprise, poised up on a knoll at the beginning of the Ficus Trail with a lovely garden. Meals were beyond words, creative, beautifully plated and insanely good.”

”The hot springs pool was absolutely wonderful! And we even had it all to ourselves during our stay. Plus, the temperature was nice and comfortable. There was also a beautiful, peaceful, little pool next to the creek that we enjoyed. The property was really lovely and immense. We took a very long hike up for a good view. They did not have the restaurant open for dinner when we were there. So, the staff offered to drive us to and from a restaurant that had a nice atmosphere and good food. And you...

”From the moment we arrived the staff greeted us with warm smiles and salutations, and throughout our stay it remained the same. Alan and his wife (the chef), Ariel, Alan’s brother and Andre and Patricia ( another chef) provided us with a rich history of the area and delicious meals. We slept like babies each night in the spacious lodging provided for us. The mountaintop views are breathtaking and taking a dip in the private waterfall was so refreshing! We totally enjoyed our stay!”

”We staying in the hand-built rustic wood cabin in the middle of blackberries [Mora] in the woods. You need a 4 wheel drive to get down the very steep access road. We left our compact rental car at a house up at the road [for a modest fee] and walked down 2km. The cabin is down a steep forest path. Didn't see evidence of wifi. It's simple and wild. Will not suit everyone, but we greatly enjoyed it. ”

Possibilité de se faire livrer le repas du soir (pas de restaurant sur place) En revanche en bord de route donc pour les amateurs de calme, c’est à prendre en considération. Cela ne nous a pas dérangé mais le traffic reprend vers 4h du matin environ ( nous y sommes allés hors saison ). Fermé par un grand portail marron ( sonner en arrivant)”
