”Extremely kind hostess who personally cooked and served a high quality breakfast every morning. Swiss Family Robinson Room, on 4th level of a house on a hill, was beautiful and very comfortable, especially with windows open on cool October nights;”

”Staff was very friendly and helpful. Free breakfast was good.”

”Rooms always clean, staff friendly, close to hospital.”

”Clean! Nice room…I booked a king bed and was given a room with 2 queens. The manager was rude and didn’t try to fix it, pretty much said it was our fault because we booked through a 3rd party and it’s not her problem to deal with. She was just very snippy and treated us unkindly. The room was clean and spacious however.”

”The water didn’t get real hot, I don’t know if it was because they were sold out so the water was getting used. Also they don’t have a closed shower it was open, like they only had one piece of glass so water was getting on the floor. Other than those two things the stay was good.”

”Overall great experience, will book again”

”I absolutely do not recommend this hotel. I am also disappointed in Expedia. Its rating is misleading. This hotel is rated around 3.5 elsewhere, which is a much more accurate reflection of the property. Not clearly disclosed on Expedia is the $150 deposit required at check-in. It's ridiculous. This is not simply putting a credit card on file for incidentals. The hotel charges the full $150 at check-in, in addition to the room you've already prepaid. I've traveled all over the world and have...

”Just the most charming hotel I've ever been in. The surroundings are nothing like I've ever experienced. You felt like you were in some old middle European town. The hotel it self was unique in all aspect. Staff was really friendly and helpful. The room was in top condition with most whimsical TV I've ever encountered (behind a painting). Bathroom was big and modern. Prices for the room and breakfast were a bit on the pricey side but well worth it on our vacation tour.”

”Lots of choices for breakfast and was brought to your room. Received a free upgrade which was a nice surprise”

”The room was very spacious. We brought our two small dogs and there was enough space for us to set up a playpen for them to stay in while we were out of our room. The property is beautiful and well maintained. The only minor issue was our toilet seat was broken but still useable. If you are traveling with dogs, there's not much in terms of grassy areas nearby. The front desk staff were so kind to our dogs and offered them treats, which was super cute and special. We would love to visit again...

”The property is in such a convenient location. You could not ask for better staff! The rooms are always clean and comfortable.”

”Good breakfast. TV and service bad. Customer service lacking.”
