Hieno paikka keskellä villiä luonto.
Upea paikka meren rannalla. Vietimme pari yötä hotellissa, jonka yhteydessä on myös pieni maatila eläimineen. Vietimme iltaa myös jacuzzissa, josta aukeavat hienot näkymät merelle ja vuorille. Ruoka oli hyvää ja palvelu erinomaista. Ehdottomasti uudestaan tänne, jos tie vielä pohjois-norjaan vie.

Maatilan mökkejä
Tämä ei ole mikään hotelli: pikku mökkiä maaseudulla, jossa ei ole minkälaisiä mukavuuksia. 2 sänkyä pienessä huoneessä ja suihkuhuone. Sänky oli hyvin kapea, suihkusta tuli todella pienellä paineella vettä. Mikroaaltouunia ei ollut, ei telkkaria, ei Wi-Fi. Talon emäntä monta kertaa tuli ovelle. On hän kyllä mukava nainen, puhuu norja ja englantia. Näköala ei ollut meri. Pässi tujotti ikkunasta. Minulla oli pieni koira mukana. Lemmikistä jouduin maksamaan 400 kruunua eli 45e. Hyvin kohtuutonta. Aamiainen ei kuulu huoneen hintaan, mutta voi tilata erikseen, hinta on 160 kruunua eli melkein 20e. Aamiainen oli surkea tällä hinnalla. Mökkien sijainti on todella surkea. 50km Tromssasta, matka on tunti. Kannattaa mennä ensin Tromssaan ja sitten hotelliin. Me menimme toista reittiä kautta, niin jouduimme maksamaan tunneli maksua 100 kruunua.

We are a farm accommodation, where you can experience beautiful scenery and contact with animals. We serve organic homemade food of high quality. We guarantee alergifrie room. Therefore, we must wash extra well after visits of guests with dogs. We must unfortunately take extra money and it says it disclosed on booking information. Wish all our future guests warmly welcome. Amazing location surrounded by mountains and seas. Staff are friendly and responsive. Clean rooms and facilities. Only downside is hard to get to without rental car, so must factor into cost. Otherwise, great experience not to be missed when in and around Tromsø

I asked for help bringing my luggage down thr hill the woman at the front desk kept saying usually her guests are healthy and don't need help she was rude and put her hands on me when i took a picture of her because of how she was speaking to me she pushed me out of the hotel and threw my things out her co worker ripped the phone out of my hands and stepped on it and threw it in the snow. Ive traveled everywhere never have i experienced something like this before in my life

The hotel was absolutely great. The staff was wonderful and took great care of us! The food was delicious and the location was beautiful. A tranquil area to enjoy the lovely scenery and get away from the noise and action of the city!

Norwegian Country
Yggdrasil Farmhotel is about 50min drive from the Tromso airport, it overlooks a fjord and is not hard to find. I rented the tiny house for myself, I had some activities planned but was looking for a quiet time out I could do some thinking and planning for 2024. The place is warm and cosy, the breakfast is excellent. The tiny house lacked some utensils for cooking and I was not able to have Wifi within which made me sit in the public areas to complete some work. I loved the woodfired Sauna. The weather was a challenge while I was there so I spend more time inside then I anticipated. It was a pleasant stay if you want to be away from the busy little city of Tromso.

Amazing place to stay if you want and need something quiet. I was with my daughter and we enjoyed our stay at Yggdrasil Farmhotel! Friendly, nice and amazing owners and staff! Nice, clean and warm cabin! Delicious food! Beautiful views! Moreover, we had nice little hiking trip to see the Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis) with a guide on the hotel premises (to the mountains). That was something unbelievably beautiful and unreal!

Avevo letto bene di questo posto ma le aspettative sono state superate. Tutto favoloso… dall’accoglienza, alla stanza, al vista, alla sala del ristorante e la colazione preparata con cura e in ogni dettaglio. Consiglio per soggiorni anche più lunghi…. The room is a bit small than we expected, and no facilities (i.e. refrigerator/coffee table) inside the room, except the bed, individual toilet and cupboards. The breakfast and the host were nice and their dogs are very cute and friendly. We have also joined their tour to see the northern lights. It was a great experience but overall the trip is a bit rushed and spent much time to stay in the cabin for food.

This is a special place on earth, and Maria is a wonderful hostess and owner. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. She prepares farm-to-table fare that is delicious. However, we were visiting in March, and at that time of the year the options for a vegetarian is rather limited. Other than that, which is certainly understandable, this was a great place to relax, unwind, snowshoe, and ski (rentals in Tromso).

Great place if weather would have co operated
Not a place we would normally stay but for northern lights seemed to be the best choice. It snowed everyday while there so no Northern Lights. We drove on snowy roads to fill time so in retrospect would have stayed in town but not due to unhappiness with the retreat. Food was very good and breakfast was artwork. Resort arranged a dog sled ride and took us there, Everything is ala carte so be prepared to pay for anything you desire outside of the great breakfast. Evening meals were outstanding. I would go back for opportunity to see Northern lights.

Was a nice stay. Nice nature and friendly staff. Prices where quite high, but thats everywhere in Norway. Only thing I missed was being able to buy some snacks etc. Should have a small kiosk with some chips, sodas, chocolates, tootbrush etc.

Amazingly peaceful place to stay. Food excellent and got to see Northern Lights on 2 nights! Really enjoyed our stay. Only let down was the 'queen' bed in the cabin wasn't very comfortable.

Nice stay
Very nice stay. We were in the Viking suite which is by the stable so the animals are outside the window. On one night the sheeps started making a lot of noise at 4am which kept us awake and was very frustrating, but the other nights were fine. All other amenities such as sauna jacuzzi etc are charged extra so we didn’t use them. The place is beautiful and we saw the northern lights just outside our room!! Breakfast is lovely as well.

Absolutely loved this place. Amazing room, with direct access to all the animals. Great location for relaxing, chilling with the animals, moose spotting and of cause northern lights spotting. I was very fortunate to see them whilst being in the hot tub. Breakfast every morning was lovely. Chia pudding, oat pudding, their own hen eggs, soft bread, cheese and butter. They have an espresso machine which provided great coffees. The owners were very friendly and took interest in our stay and our lives. They also gave great tips on what to do and what the weather was up to. They also have the cutest little dog ever! A big thank you :-)

Where to begin!!! The property is beyond charming with breathtaking vistas from atop the hill, perfect for stargazing and catching a glimpse of the Aurora. Maria and her little shadow Ebla were warm and inviting and Silvia made the most incredible food we have ever tasted. The environment that the entire fantastic staff creates promotes total and complete relaxation. If you are light hunting, this is the perfect place to do it, as even if you aren’t lucky enough to experience them, your trip will not be a disappointment. This is a magical place, and staying in cottage #1 absolutely filled my heart with joy to be able to open the window and be greeted by all of the beautiful animals that reside right outside of your door. Loved Loved Loved it.

A perfect setting for a holiday, super clean, the most delicious breakfast and dinners! We were blown away with it. We loved that you had to take off your shoes, made it feel more relaxed and homey. The views were to die for, the animals so sweet and fluffy this time of year. They’re very accommodating and nice to English speakers. We’d come back right away if we could.
