Escape to this tropical 2BR retreat just a short walk to North Beach! Enjoy a spacious private deck, palm-tree views, and a relaxed coastal vibe perfect for families or couples. The ideal San Clemente getaway—steps from the sand, wedding venues, trails, cafés, and sunshine.

Bedroom and Sleeping Arrangements:

Bedroom 1: King bed, ensuite bathroom.
Bedroom 2: Two queen beds.
Loft: Twin bed.
Living Room: Queen sleeper sofa.

HEAT & AC:
Central heating and air conditioning are a rare feature in beach homes.

KITCHEN:
The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, oven, stove, crockpot, drip coffee maker, toaster, and blender.
Basic cookware, dinnerware, utensils, and kitchen tools are provided.

WHAT’S INCLUDED:
High-speed WiFi and cable/satellite TV.
Starter supplies are included: trash bags, paper towels, a sponge, hand soap, dish soap, dishwasher pods, toilet paper, laundry pods, and dryer sheets.
Private washer and dryer.
Beach chairs, umbrella and coolers are included.

TOWELS & LINENS:
Bath and beach towels are provided.
Bathrooms are stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.
An iron and an ironing board are provided.

THINGS TO KNOW:
Access to the unit requires climbing 12 stairs.
Two tandem parking spaces are available.
A Pack ’n Play is available. Please bring your own sheet.
Lower level of a duplex (unit above)
This is a noise-sensitive community with Good Neighbor monitoring for sound levels only. Guest privacy is respected.

IMPORTANT HOUSE RULES:
No smoking anywhere on the property.
Garage access is not available.
Guests must be 25 years or older to book.
Travel insurance is recommended for unforeseen circumstances. The cancellation policy is strictly enforced.

PET POLICY:
Non-shedding and small dogs are welcome for a pet fee. Please message us with your dog`s weight and breed to receive a payment request. Pets must not be left unattended and are not permitted on furniture or beds.

LOCATION:
The property is steps from North Beach access and the beach trail.
A five-minute drive to downtown Del Mar’s restaurants, boutiques, and outlets.

GUEST ACCESS:
Keyless entry is provided with a unique code sent before arrival.
No physical keys are required.

Perfect for our family of six.

We loved the layout of the rental, loved having two bathrooms, loved the balcony, loved that there was designated parking, loved the location, loved that there were plenty of towels, loved the COMFORTABLE beds, loved the extra bed in the loft. If we're ever in San Clemente again, we hope to stay here!As mentioned in some other reviews, the dryer didn't heat and the tv wouldn't stream. If you need a DELICIOUS Italian meal, go to Sonny's. If you want some delicious fish tacos go to Sancho's Tacos. If you're at the rental on a weekend you can take the San Clemente Trolley to the Pier or up to Historic Sand Clemente.

Nice neighborhood. Approximately a block from North beach easy walk. Several eating establishments within walking distance. House was clean. Beds are comfortable. Furniture in living room has a lot of wear. The dryer to dry clothes did not heat up.

Plumbing Problems Galore

The location of the condo was great. Located in North Beach just steps from the sand, 7-11 and other restaurants to enjoy, and close to the San Clamente Trail. The place was also cleaned to our satisfaction. However, the decore and furniture was old. The master bedroom had a bed that was extremely crickety so every time you moved or rolled over you could hear it from the room next door and in the loft area. So no privacy for mom and dad without kids being scar'd for life. What I was most frustrating and upset about was the units plumbing. We had multiple clogged toilets downstairs and the shower downstairs that all the kids used would not drain. I called it in, they came out a few hours later to check it and they said they fixed the issue and it drains but just slowly. When we came home and got the message and checked the progress, no change was made. Nothing was fixed and it still drained at a glacial place. Its dangerous because if i kid doesnt speak up, it can flood the bathroom and 1st floor. The fact we got bruched off by property management team and nobody cared about our comfort of stay was shocking. If you stay at this property perpare yourselves for terrible plumbing and possibility your shower can overflow, and old crickety beds and furniture from the 80s that are uncomfortable and offer no privacy for anyone with kids. I was disappointed with this host and their overall "I dont care attitude" I got from them.

great home, but thin walls/ceiling

This is a duplex. Unit A is the first floor above garages, with another rental, unit B above. The left garage has wagons, sand toys, boogie boards, lots of beach chairs, and a beach umbrella for each rental. The kitchen has everything you need to cook. Furniture was all comfortable. The dual head shower was great. TVs included an extra HDMI cable to connect your own streaming box or game console. Our only complaint about the home: we could hear the upstairs neighbors a lot. Bedrooms are upstairs and right below the living room of upstairs unit, so we were kept up by late-night adults talking, and woken early by early morning toddlers running around. The listing mentions no street parking, but that's not true. It's just hard to find available street parking. A note to anyone looking to play in the sand and shallow waves - San Clemente is not for you. All the beaches we visited were a mix of sand and smooth gravel. Look to Oceanside or anywhere from Laguna Beach to Huntington Beach if you want smooth sand. Even if you bring water shoes, waves throw rocks at your ankles.

Amazing location

This was located perfectly for our family. We love walking/hiking and the trail was a great way to get out and be near the beach. There was a cute French cafe right across the street for our coffee, and the beach access was just a few hundred yards away. Plus they had all the amenities we needed, including beach towels. Thanks!

Awesome Space and Ideal Location

The property was clean and had the necessary utilities. It was spacious and relaxing. The location was ideal walking distance to the beach and the trolley to get into town for free. Check in and out process was seamless. There was more beach toys and chairs than expected (boogie boards, chairs, umbrella, coolers, and a wagon). I would recommend this for any group or family!

Great location

Thoroughly pleased with our stay, plenty of room for the 5 of us. The location was great, short walk to the beach, outlets and restaurants. The kitchen was well stocked with anything you need for cooking in a well. Be aware that this is not a stand alone unit, you can hear people walking around above you, but didn't bother us as they were in bed early.

Perfect location and property.

Very nice and clean.. Property Manager Elise with Vacasa was very sweet. She knew it was my daughters birthday and had a nice gift, card, snack and balloons waiting when we arrived. It was very nice and made my daughter feel special. There was tons of beach supplies for us to use which made it nice. The closest beach is nice with many activities, and beautiful with fire pits, and only a 2-minute walk, but it is made up of bigger stones not sand. You need to go to the next beach for sand. We would definitely return. San Clemente is very nice.

A Great Place with some Significant problems

Initially we were very happy with the property, but as our stay continued some major issues came up. Some of them were outside the control of the owners, but they should have been disclosed in the listing. Pros: -Very comfortable living space. The couch is big and great for lounging. -Very clean upon arrival -Wifi was fast and easy to use -entry to unit was easy and had no issues -the AC worked perfectly Cons: -property right next door is under construction (Jack Hammering outside the master bedroom at 7:00am) and will be for at least another year. I wouldn't expect it to be completed until August 2020. -The unit is a condo and there is very little insulation between this unit and the one above you. Fortunately our upstairs neighbors were family quiet but if a loud party is up there it will be a nuisance. -The beds are highly uncomfortable. Not everyone in my party had as much trouble sleeping, but I woke up both mornings with back pain. Notes: -I listed Communication as a 3 because we didn't need to contact the owners so it was neither good or bad. -I listed Location and Neighborhood as a 3 because I really liked the location of the condo, but the current state of the neighborhood (construction) was a major negative. Also the closest beach, the one in walking distance is almost entirely rocks (vs. sand) and was not good for families with young children.

San Property

This unit has tremendous vacation potential. The location is ideal, walking distance from the beach, hiking paths, metro station and restaurants that range in price and atmosphere, and offer a vast variety of eating experiences from creative American cuisine to several ethnic cuisine where the owners are welcoming and gracious. San Clemente has a variety of small shops that feature local artists and designers. The condo itself is well situated with a large living room and a kitchen that opens to the dinning room with a large table that seats 6 and a bar with 2 bar stools that comfortably seats two more. The unit can easily sleep 5 adults or a family with 3-5 children. It is also well equipped with high chair and play pen for young guests. Beach chairs, boogie boards, sand toys, umbrella and wagon are in new and immaculate condition and offer everything anyone would need for a day at the beach. The bath and bedroom linens were high quality and the beds comfortable. Having two large full beds in the second bedroom is really nice and makes each bedroom equally appealing for 4 adults. The apartment was clean barring a few burned out light bulbs and the dusty patio which was impossible to keep clean due to the major construction project taking place within 3 feet of the unit. Which beings us to the issues with this unit. Construction begins promptly at 7:30 AM, two excavators moving dirt that reaches 4 stories high. It's not just the noise of the construction but the shaking it causes within the unit. It is not possible to sit on the patio during work hours and after the crew leaves there is also a healthy coating of of dirt left behind covering the patio furniture, patio floor and BBQ. The noise prohibits opening any windows during working hours, thankfully the unit has an excellent air conditioner. The construction projection deters significantly from the ambience of this unit and the project is extensive and will most likely go on for 10-12 months. It's disappointing that the local management was not more transparent about the construction and even after being made aware of it, only offered a 10% discount. Knowing ahead of time, would have been greatly appreciated. Our concerns were addressed by the representatives from Vacasa; they patiently listened and made attempts to reach out to the local management. We ended up cutting our vacation short by 4 days :( .

Great place but don't stay until construction is done

Place was great until the next day we found out that there was construction of a new home next door. I called the property manager and she told me that it wasn't their problem. I asked her why I want informed about it and she retired the same thing! So for the entire stay we didn't have any peace during districting times and we couldn't enjoy the balcony given the noise and dirt coming over since they were digging right next door.
