”This listing is deceiving. The whole area was under a blizzard warning. They had roughly 3 days notice that this storm was coming, and it did. 14 inches of snow later I’m supposed to check in but the host forgot to make sure the rental was plowed. Her words “oh yeah I forgot that” when I called to find out what was going on. I was refunded that first day. Day two, and I didn’t get checked in until after 11am. So most of the day gone. Did not get a refund for that day. Now on to the house. My...

”Fully stocked kitchen for cooking - best ever!House was warm ( it was cold outside) when we entered , backwards of usual rentals- had to ask how to turn it down lol!Host got out kayaks from storage for us to use which we appreciated very much . Only complaint was we did not know the hot tub was already turned off for the season. Sauna was great!This was a great place to stay away from Houghton but still good for traveling to multiple sites in the area.”
