”Gretchen and Chris are amazing hosts! They are so friendly, full of information to share and suggestions for the area, and make you feel at home. Their property is beautiful and comfortable. My husband and I toured around Oregon for 10 days and this was my favorite stay!”

”Hosts were outstanding on check in. I arrived later in evening around 7:30 pm and they were friendly and receptive and recommended dining options. Even walked me down to the cabin to show the way in the dark. Room was immaculate and beautifully done and very comfortable. Would stay here anytime when within the area. Good location and convenient to attractions, dining, and all basic staples.”

”I am using the area to leave my review for the restaurant. Staff and service was very good. Hower, I believe they have no idea of the poor quality of food they are serving. Farmed salmon is not on my list of high quality. Pre-made microwaved $42 lamb plate with carrots is not on my list of quality food either. A microwave chicken breast was not very good either. ”

”The Lightwell is a wonderful little hotel in a great location. Easy walk to all of downtown Hood River. Everything was clean, well taken care of with friendly staff. Rooms are small with no onsite parking, however parking was close.”

”Check in was quick and easy Coffee was provided, room has microwave and mini fridge. It’s very affordable and you couldn’t hear the people next door which was a plus ”
