Tunne maailman huipulla! Tällä kauniisti suunnitellulla rinteellä varustetulla kodilla on uskomaton panoraamanäkymä Carsonin alueelle. Koti on valoisa avoin pohjaratkaisu holvikatot ja lattiasta kattoon ulottuvat ikkunat. Suuri kannella on näköala vuoristoon, 4 viidestä makuuhuoneesta ja tilavasta bonustoimistosta on näköala vuorille. Kodissa on kaksi sisäänrakennettua kodin viihdejärjestelmää ja ilmainen nopea WIFI. Se tarjoaa rauhallisen ja muualla olevan ympäristön ystävien ja perheen vetäytymiseen. Koti on kävelyetäisyydellä Tahoe Donnerin hiihto- ja ratsastuskeskuksesta ja monista Tahoe Donnerin retkeilyreiteistä. Vieraat voivat myös nauttia Tahoe Donner -yhdistyksen virkistysmahdollisuuksista pienillä maksuilla.

- Saapumisalueella oleva mutatila voi varastoida takkeja ja saappaita.

- Yhdistetty muta / pesutupa yhdistää 2-autotallen oleskelutilaan. Huoneessa on pesukone ja kuivausrumpu. Se voi varastoida likaisia pesula- ja siivoustarvikkeita. Se voi myös tallentaa takkeja, saappaita ja suksia. Siinä on pitkä istuinpenkki.

- Iso olohuone, jossa on TV, puu takka ja kaksi sohvaa. Sekä keittiö että ruokailutila ovat avoinna olohuoneeseen. Ruokapöytä mahtuu 10 henkilöä. Olohuoneessa on lattiasta kattoon ulottuvat ikkunat, joista on uskomattomat näkymät vuorille.

-Keittiössä on graniittitasot ja se on varustettu ruostumattomasta teräksestä valmistetuilla laitteilla. mukaan lukien iso jääkaappi, mikroaaltouuni, uuni, kaasuliesi. Keittiössä on sisääntulotiski, 3 baarituolia.

-Makuuhuoneessa on Cal King -sänky, kaasutakka kaukosäätimellä. Siinä on vaatehuone ja kylpyhuone, joka on varustettu erillisellä suihkulla, tupla-altaalla ja poreallas. Tässä makuuhuoneessa on valtavat ikkunat ja näkymät vuorille.

- Tällä tasolla on puoli kylpyhuone.

- Suuri kansi, josta on upeat panoraamanäkymät vuorille propaani-BBQ: lla.

Loftissa:
- Pelihuone foosball-pöydällä.

Alemmalla tasolla:
- Toisessa makuuhuoneessa on TV, pieni vaatehuone ja kylpyhuone suihkulla / kylpyammeella. Tässä makuuhuoneessa on vuoristomaisemat.

- Kolmas makuuhuone, jossa 4 kerrossänkyä. Tässä huoneessa on oleskelualue, tilaäänentoistojärjestelmä, televisio ja täydellinen kylpyhuone suihkulla / kylpyammeella.

- Neljäs makuuhuone, jossa kaksi erillistä vuodetta. Tässä makuuhuoneessa on vuoristomaisemat.

- Viidennessä makuuhuoneessa on yksi queen-vuode ja kansi.

-Toimistossa on TV ja kaksi tietokoneen näyttöä. Siinä on myös sohva, joka voidaan vetää ulos muuntamiseksi queen-vuode. Sieltä on näköala vuorille ja pääsy porealtaaseen ja toiselle kannelle.

- Kannella on poreallas, josta on laajat näkymät vuorille.

Great stay with large space with STUNNING Views

Overall the stay was nice, very spacious and straight forward. One big complain was the Heater downstairs. All of us were freezing downstairs because the heater wasn't working. Only the one in the living room and master bedroom was. Also expect the place to be a bit dusty my allergies were through the roof. The couch in the living room is a bit dated in my opinion. May be time for the property owner to do an upgrade. But if you are looking for views. This spot is Amazing. The pictures from the listing definitely don't do it justice.

This property is beautiful and was very roomy. My entire group loved everything about it especially the view from the outdoor deck. The jacuzzi was very warm and the kitchen was fully equipped. Would definitely come back here!

Mountain Bike Trip

The floor plan of the home was very nice and the back view was amazing. The home has plenty of room to where you do not feel crowded. The downfall is the home was lacking attention to issues such as the cleanliness and items that needed fixing around the house. The home obviously receives a quick run over before turning it over to the next renter.

Great stay

We really enjoyed the home. Space was great - I really liked the high ceilings and the bunk bed room for the kids. It is close to Tahoe Donner and slope up wasn't too steep even if heavy snow we were able to get up and down. Owner was responsive to our questions. I would stay here again.

DISHONEST MANAGER, SEVERAL KEY AMENITY ISSUES

DISHONEST HOST, SEVERAL KEY AMENITY ISSUES, which the host or the cleaner was NO HELP in addressing them, and the host was DISHONEST about the issues and technically called us liars! Also, the Vrbo customer service was absolutely no help and ridiculously called the issues "minor issues". Here are the issues: 1. The hottub (Spa): Very frustrating. The hot tub kept SHUTTING DOWN, the water was COLD, and really DIRTY!! It was clearly not cleaned after the previous guests! After following up with the host, the cleaner suggested to turn it on and off. However, this only solved the issue for a few minute. The hottub was one of the main reasons why we had chosen this place. We could have booked much better and much cheaper places without a hottub. So technically, we wasted our money for this place that said had a hottub but actually didn’t. The host claimed they had cleaned and checked the water pH before our check in and the hottub was so hot that it tripped the breaker. However, the water was still cold and dirty even after 24 hours of not using it. The maintenance person told us that the reason these issues was the low level of water inside the tub. The water level was like this when we checked in. They did not know the problem but kept blaming that on us. TOTAL SCAM...WE HAVE PICTURES OF THIS. 2. BBQ Grill: The grill was NOT functional. The cleaner called and said SHE DOESN'T KNOW WHAT TO DO! NO WORKING PROPANE TANK FOR a place in this price range! We bought another propane tank for $29 ourselves and have the receipt. Setting aside that $29 for the tank, the Vrbo support called this "a minor issue" (how is it minor?). The host said they had filled up both propane tanks for the BBQ grill and we used them all. Also he claimed his cleaner called and resolved the issue for us which is TOTAL DISHONESTY as she exactly said SHE DOEN’T KNOW WHAT TO DO! We were not able to grill anything we planned after five hours trying and and we had to throw everything away. Vacation ruined!! 3. Audio System was not working, and NO help in this regard!!! 4. The house was NOT CLEAN. There were many dirts on the sofas, on the dinning table, and on the dishes. 5. No fire starter or lighter for the fire place!! THIS PLACE IS A TOTAL JOKE AND SCAM!!! If you want to RUIN your vacation, definitely get this place!

Family Get Together

Property and views were beautiful… had trouble checking in due to wrong code given for door lock. House was beautiful and well stocked but windows were hard to open and stay open. Over all had a wonderful time and property was very nice. I would recommend this house for large groups… very nice!

This house more than delivered. Plenty of space to spread out. Fabulous views, comfy bedrooms and a hot tub with a view. The kitchen is nicely laid out and the dining area is spacious and good for a big group.

Beautiful house

The house and the locayion are beautiful .The only negative point is that we did not find cleen bedsheets for the sleeper sofa. Overall, we had a great weekend with our friends there and recommend the place.

Amazing cabin!

We stayed here for the holiday weekend. Can’t say enough good things! The view is incredible, the craftsmanship is beautiful, so many rooms and beds and especially bathrooms. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back!!

Family Vacation 2021

We had so much fun! The house was just what we needed. We had 6 adults, 2 teen girls, 2 teen boys, 1 elementary aged kid and 2 four year old boys! We enjoyed cooking together breakfast and dinners, and enjoyed spending time together! We loved the lakes, hiking, adventure parks, and all around just time spent together as a family! Thank you for the amazing time!!!

Fantastic home to rent with family and friends.

The home was amazing, the view from the back deck was incredible, watching the deer, chipmunks and quail was quite entertaining for all of us. Even though the time we were there it was smoky from the CA fires, we had plenty to do indoors with game nights, movies and lots of cooking in the large kitchen. Family dinners around the huge dining table were a blessing and the evening and morning dips in the private hot tub were so relaxing. We had a fairly clear day to rent and ride bikes along the Truckee River and that was very fun. Overall fantastic experience, the home was gorgeous and we will definitely be back again. Hoping to make it an annual event for family get togethers. We give it 5 stars!

Beautiful house with a view

We had a group of 12 people, 5 adults and 7 kids (age 11-17). There was plenty of space for sleeping and hanging out. The view from the back deck was amazing with beautiful sunsets. The house does not have AC so it can get a bit warm with the sun shining in but there was generally a slight breeze if you open the windows. The kitchen was nice but it did lack a few basic utensils such as measuring spoons and dry measuring cups. Some updated utensils such as spatulas, tongs, etc would be nice. Some additional mixing bowls and storage containers would be nice as well. There was no laundry detergent and only a few pods for the dishwasher so we did have to go out to buy those items. Overall, the house was lovely and our group really enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

Beautiful Location

We recently stayed at this rental with my family and cousin's family with a total of 11 of us. The views were breathtaking and a welcomed greeting to each day. There was plenty of room for all of us to sleep and hang out. The kitchen was stocked better than I thought, based on previous reviews but if you need a specialty item, you may want to bring your own. If you have small children, you may want to consider the deck with the steep drop. The location was convenient to skiing at Tahoe Donner, where we were lucky enough to have no crowds, sunshine and fresh snow! The one issue was there were a couple items that seemed a little challenged, like blinds that did not open and close smoothly. We were charged for a broken blind that was stuck and couldn't be closed, which wasn't due to abuse; it just didn't work well. We had purchased the damage insurance, so we didn't make a deal of it. Overall, I would recommend, based on the location, the views and the comfortable living spaces provided for all.

Beautiful location but could be cleaner

This home is gorgeous with a view from the deck you could stare at all day. Terrific BBQ there as well. Very spacious and comfortable for the 4 members of my family. It could have been cleaner, however. There was a lot of hair in the shower of the downstairs master BR, and the blanket in the double twin bedroom smelled like urine. One more thing to be aware of - the paperwork sent by the owner said that network TV was available in the downstairs bunk room - but that is not the case. Didn’t miss not having it anyway. Overall, a very enjoyable place to stay.

It's larger on the inside!

The house definitely seemed larger than was advertised, which was awesome. The main living room was comfortable and a great place to lounge with everyone. Our group of snowboarders enjoyed this very much!

Wonderful stay

This is my second time staying at this home and it is as beautiful as I remember it. There was no snow in Truckee when we arrived but we were welcome with overnight fresh powder overnight on the beautiful deck view. Plenty of rooms and separate spaces for everyone and very clean. I would stay here again.
