The indoor area of the place is fine, but the furniture in the pictures is not accurate. The sofa is different and the padded kitchen table chairs and bar stools are swapped out with hard wooden chairs.This AvantStay company tried contacting me while I driving through the mountains with little reception. I received an email the day of arrival saying I couldn't stay at the property and needed to stay at a comparable place in Incline Village. I had then adjusted my route and began contacting the company to ask what was going on. They said it was by mistake and I could stay at the original location. Ended up being a stress for me and my guests, a waste of time, and gas.Lastly, they advertise in in their description and multiple photos of an outdoor fire pit with snow all around and captions like, "you're home on the snow". This was a major selling point for my group. When we arrived the fire pit was nowhere to be found because they don't maintain or shovel the area. There was one cheap plastic shovel in the back with a broken handle. I contacted the company about this and they said that the fire pit is no available during the winter. As every single photo of the fire pit has snow around it, this felt like massive false advertisement. Really felt like for the price we paid for this property that they pulled a fast one on us. I hope other people can read this and don't fall into the same trap. I'll never rent from AvantStay again.
