”The beach was beautiful. The décor has a slightly shabby chic style, although some areas could do with updating. We only stayed for one night, but we would definitely come back again. The location is excellent.”

”This was not a hotel. It was a glorified airbandb. No staff...no bar or coffee shop. Disappointing...but it was clean and comgortable. I paid for a hotel though.”

”Such a wonderful property, and the rooms are so very clean and comfortable. We slept so well, and were treated quite nicely. Kate is such a lovely host, and her brekkie is top-notch. We enjoyed chatting with her as we ate, and found her delightful and helpful. The farm setting is so peaceful (for us guest that is, a lot of hard work for owners), and the location is great for visiting the Lizard and other places around south Cornwall. Thank you much for such a great stay!”

”Had a great extended weekend stay at Porth lodge! In a great location with the beach just a short walk away and Newquay within walking distance it's perfectly tucked away. The staff were very lovely and helpful and the breakfast made to order everything was a highlight. Would recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable and homely stay”

”Absolutely fantastic, couldn’t fault our stay, owners are lovely, so friendly, so accommodating, location was fabulous, if you are a walker or have a car then popping into town or surrounding areas is simple, mobility issues not great as there are lots of hills.”
