  • Tuscaloosa is waiting for you at this 1-bedroom chalet. Bring your boat! Guests will find a welcoming space featuring a queen bed in the bedroom and plenty of room to relax in the living room, wrap-around porch, screened porch by the water, and boat dock. There are 2 boat slips—one for a bass boat and one for a pontoon boat. There is a queen sofa bed in the living room and 2 twin beds in the loft. The bathroom offers a shower and a hair dryer for convenience. There is a grilling deck as well as a fish-cleaning station for your use. Whether you’re unwinding after a day of exploring, fishing, boating, or swimming or enjoying a quiet morning inside, the chalet provides excellent comfort with heating and air conditioning. This beautiful retreat invites guests to feel right at home. We're happy to assist with any questions while you stay at our chalet.

This place is so well constructed and decorated. All the amenities were well chosen and plentiful. The outdoor spaces were just delightful! With a wrap around deck and a screened in gazebo with a big deck— both overlooking the river, it was expansive and peaceful. We had a graduation dinner for our family and everyone had a great time.We got lost on the way in, and our host, Renee, sent her sweet mom to guide us in. We recommend the Chalet to anyone who enjoys the healing presence of water and graceful surroundings.

The Chalet is beautiful, nicely decorated, and very clean. It felt like we were at home as soon as we walked in. The dock is big, very nice, and family-friendly. Families can have a lot of fun on the boat dock and screened porch by the water during summer. The views from the chalet and dock are beautiful as well. My husband and I wanted a quiet and relaxing weekend vacation (except for the game lol) away from the world and that is exactly what we got with this chalet. We are very likely to go back with our family next summer.Days before we arrived, I received a message from Renee letting us know they had added flashlights and extra water so we would be prepared for the hurricane and possible power outages. They had everything covered. We didn’t expect that but we really appreciated the sweet act of kindness. My husband and I went to Tuscaloosa for the Georgia/Alabama game. I did not want to pay inflated hotel prices. I searched for minutes before coming across this cute chalet that was very well priced and much nicer than any hotel room. We HIGHLY recommend this chalet for a beautiful, peaceful, and relaxing getaway.Renee, thank you for being so sweet and welcoming. I needed that time away. My soul and body was well rested when we returned home.

We enjoyed our weekend stay and we're fortunate to see so much wildlife. Hosts were wonderful and received such a warm welcome.
