When I booked this hotel room - the photos used was showing rooms overlooking the pool in different angles.
I booked the room and paid a non refundable payment.
I assumed that we would get a similar looking room with that view as that was what was what they were showing, that’s why I picked this property.
A day before arrival I was told this was not the room we would be getting. I did inform them that that was what I booked as per their photos, they said “sorry but as it’s fully booked they can’t change the room allocated.” And that our room would face the car park. As I had no other choice than go with it or loose the payment.
I did let them know that I felt they were misleading people by putting up pictures for a room that wasn’t accurate which is misleading.
I heard no more from them.
Anyhow after all this I decided we were still going to enjoy our holiday weekend and not let this ruin it.
The girl we picked the keys up from was lovely, the hotel was great, we still used the amenities and enjoyed our stay. It’s a great resort.
The loss of stars are purely for being misleading in their presentation on what the room looks like in pictures.
The resort get 5 stars.
