Welcome to Astro – a centrally located, Moroccan themed get-a-way in the heart of 29 Palms!! Our fully remodeled bungalow is just 10 minutes from the entrance of Joshua Tree National Park and is the perfect home base for a family or group of up to 5 friends. This home has everything you need for a relaxing time, unique touches in every room to give you those desert vibes. Relax in one of our comfortable bedrooms, cook meals in the updated kitchen, work from home comfortably in a separate sitting area with plentiful throw pillows, lounge in the spacious backyard with a glass of wine, or soak at night in a private hot tub under the stars.

The space
Built in 1942 but fully renovated in 2021, Astro is a darling mid-century modern bungalow located conveniently in the Adobe area of 29Palms next to a local art studio. 10 mins from the entrance of Joshua Tree National Park and a few minutes drive to downtown 29 Palms. Our home faces a busy main road so there is some street noise if the front door is open, but the rest of the home, including the ample yard is sunken in a bit to allow for privacy and relaxation.

Our home features an open concept space with a cozy futon suitable for one additional guest, a Smart TV with Roku, hi speed WiFi, a 4-person dining table, and a kitchen equipped with dishware, cookware, microwave, toaster, and coffee pot. New wood-look flooring throughout the home, freshly painted, quartz countertops, large farm sink in a kitchen fully loaded with stainless steel appliances. You can choose from two similarly sized bedrooms with comfy queen beds, each adjacent to it’s own bathroom stocked with towels, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.

Outside you’ll find a large outdoor dining table with seating for 6, a wood burning fire pit with lounge chairs, a gas BBQ grill, a seasonal cowboy soaking tub, and a private hot tub to watch the sunset or soak in the desert air under the stars!

There is plenty of parking in the circular driveway and additional parking along the side and back of the home.

Upon request, we’ll welcome one well-behaved small dog - up to 25lbs. We require a one-time non-refundable $100 pet fee if you bring your house-trained dog. Do NOT leave pets unattended in the unfenced yard and please clean up after your pet!

Parking
There is ample parking on the property for up to four cars

Cameras
For security purposes, we do have cameras on the outside of the property. They are only monitored if there is an issue or safety/security concern.

Heating & Cooling
The house is equipped with mini-split units in each bedroom and one in the main living space. They provide both heating and air conditioning to keep you comfortable day and night.

Kitchen
Our remodeled full kitchen has a stainless steel fridge, stove, microwave, toaster and offers everything you need such as dishes, cups, silverware, coffee maker, pots, pans, and cooking utensils.

Pets
Astro welcomes one well-behaved, house trained dog under 25 lbs. There is a non-refundable $100 pet fee and we kindly request that you clean up after your pet!
