”It is difficult to fault Kilkea Castle as every aspect of the property impressed. The little things therefore matter and small faults in maintenance, which should be dealt with in a luxury property, tend to stand out more. However, that is digging into the fine detail. So, first impressions carried through from first stepping inside with a warm welcome, the engaging housekeeping staff and superbly professional dining/breakfast room staff. On site activities are a nice touch and worth looking at....

”The farmhouse was very clean with a spectacular view of the lake and surrounding areas. The staff was welcoming and the breakfast was wonderful. Highly recommend for a short or extended stay.”

”Tudor Lodge was a disaster as it was not open at all. We had made a reservation at least one month earlier via internet, but after driving several hundred kilometers we arrived to Tudor Lodge around 7.p.m. just to find out, that the place was closed down. A man opened the door and said that someone had passed away and that they wouldn't admit any guests. Nobody bothered to call us and inform about the situation. Thank you very much, hotels.com and Tudor Lodge - because of this we had to find...

”Room wasn't quite what I was anticipating, but quite roomy. The staff and meals were great ... particularly the options and care taken for my dietary requirements. ”

”Just a warning, the snug is behind the bar owned by the same family. There’s a small driveway at the end of the bar a hairstyle place and some other little shops. The hotel was very quiet and comfortable. The rooms were huge and the bathroom is very nice and all brand new. In the morning we did have some toast and tea and it was nice to have the availability of fruits and vegetables and yogurt and so on for the free breakfast the host was very nice.”

”This is a very peaceful and relaxing hotel. The staff could not be more helpful. Spacious room and a super comfortable bed. Everything was spotlessly clean. The breakfast was lovely with a very good menu and was cooked to order. I would highly recommend staying here. ”

”Vietin perheeni kanssa 4 yötä K Clubilla elokuussa. Hotelli sijaitsee puolen tunnin ajomatkan päässä Dublinista Irlannin maaseudulla. Itse hotelli on vanha vähän linnamainen rakennus, joka kuitenkin on saatettu tilojensa puolesta vastaamaan vaativammankin matkailijan vaatimuksia. Hotellin vieressä on kaksi korkeatasoista golfkenttää, jonne ainakin vierailumme aikana oli helppo saada lähtöaikoja. Muita aktiviteetteja, joita kokeilimme oli kajakilla melominen, joka todella on kokeilemisen...
