”The nightstands on either side of the King bed were pretty awful. Quite small, too small to rest glasses, a book and a phone. Top of nightstands much too high above bed (about 12"), so person in bed needs to reach far up and sharp corners of stands could injure a person that falls against them. Nightstand lamps too dim for application, and too high up, can't reach switch from bed. Awkward clothes hanger rack and ironing station stuck back in corner of room behind large chair, would be hard to...

”I'm sorry to disagree with some of these other reviews. I was unimpressed with this hotel. The room had a slight musty odor, and the bed was a bit outdated and somewhat saggy. Loved the good hot shower though, with lots of pressure. Please take some of the renovation money you are spending and buy a new toaster for the breakfast area!”

The place is right off the highway, quiet and safe feeling, the price is the best I could find for Kentucky Derby week, and the staff is friendly and helpful.
