”I am not an overly picky person when it comes to hotels as long as the rooms are clean and comfortable, but this is not a hotel I would ever recommend. The friendly, blonde young man at the front desk was remarkable and passionate about his job. The location to the highway was very convenient. Those were the only good things about this hotel. There are no working elevators and the hallway downstairs smelled horrible and sour. Everything is out of order basically...the downstairs bathrooms,...

”Perfect location. There’s a variety of restaurants and shopping places near by. Easy access to the interstate or downtown. A small gym with a tv, and a pool. We love the breakfast. My husband makes himself a waffle and I have one of the flavored oatmeal packets. There's a choice of 2 cold cereals if you prefer flakes or 'O's'. Lots of toppings to choose from—chocolate chips, dried cranberries, chia seeds, slivered almonds, and more. Even Redi-Whip! To drink there's coffee, a variety of tea...

”The room was very nice and the price to stay for the night was great. The continental breakfast was disappointing. Ran out of scrambled eggs by 7AM and no breakfast meat was offered. The ice maker on the third floor was not working. Overall the stay was not bad and I would certainly recommend it for someone wanting to save money over the other available hotels in the area.”

”The room was Super Clean and quiet, parking was free and there were plenty of spaces. The woman who greeted us at the check-in desk was friendly and welcoming. Our room had a small fridge to keep our soda and water cold and the shower had nearly instantly hot water. We love staying at small, independant places for exactly this reason! The only thing that could have made the stay better is a hair dryer, but since I typically travel with one this wasn't a hardship. Thank you, Elk Inn!”

”This is the dirtiest hotel room I have ever stayed in, it was almost 1 am when we stopped while traveling. I had made a non-refundable reservation and we were exhausted. The bed seemed clean, but the carpeting had stains allllllll over it. The bathroom was gross, we didn't shower because it was so moldy and icky and looked like it was broken.
There was a stain on the curtains that looked like blood.
I will never stay at a Comfort inn again!”
