”The easy access to all the water craft was great. the area was close to public beach and a couple valuable stores for supplies. It was also quiet at night which made sleeping very nice.”

”The setting was beautiful, a shimming lake and a burst of colour from autumn foliage. Unfortunately the cottage was lacking. Shower door won’t stay closed, not a dresser, shelf, or hook for clothing, oven not clean, rack in backwards and fell out, extreme floor slanting. But, the most upsetting was the Lack of Communication with the host and the agency, The Muskoka Waterfront Retreat. We wanted a 3 night reservation, but mistakenly entered 2. ”Host was welcoming. Suggest bbq light to light the fire or tell guest to bring their own. Cottage was clean and warm. ”

”Quiet neighborhood with a short walk to grocery store, shops, and lake. Museum next door is neat. Place was roomy and clean. I do wish there was more to cook with (no large pots, only one knife, no potholders). If you're someone who prefers to cook instead of eat out, just survey the kitchen before meal planning! Really that was our only beef. Everything else was great.”
