”Loved our stay at this spotlessly clean and welcoming home. It suited perfectly for our group of 3 retired couples with 3 separate double bedrooms and two bathrooms. Very well-equipped kitchen and super cosy with the woodburner on. We enjoyed the outdoor courtyard area and the close proximity to Greytown. The gin tasting at Greytown Distilling was a highlight - recommend the A frame house and the Distillery!”

”Both families had a fantastic 3 nights at this beautiful property while using it as a base to enjoy the region. Had everything you needed - including linen and towels - for a great stay. Only downside was the heat pump struggles to warm such a large space in winter, but an extra layer on while inside fixes that. Totally recommend for anyone wanting to have a relaxing getaway in a beautiful part of Aotearoa.”

”A lovely and tidy property but the bed, couches and dining furniture were so uncomfortable we ended up leaving after the first night (we paid for 2 nights). Hubby has no known back problems but was very uncomfortable and sore after one night, I have osteoarthritis in my lower spine, hips and knees and I could hardly walk after spending the night. You can't sit comfortably on the couches or at the table. This was a shame as the property is lovely and if it had more comfortable and practical...

”The cottage was perfect for what we needed for the weekend, we were out alot and thought the house may be quite cold upon returning in the evenings but found the cottage surprisingly warm and cosy. It heated up really quickly the night we arrived too. Owners were great with communication and and really helpful. ”
