Hirsimökki sydämessä Adirondacks joka on kaikki

Serene 4 kauden majoitus. Sijaitsee Ausable-joen ja Jay-vuoren välissä, 5 km: n päässä Whiteface Mtnistä, High Peaksistä ja 20 minuutin päässä Lake Placidista. Mökki istuu 7 hehtaarin Adirondack-puistossa ja Ylä-Jay-vuorella. Yksityinen polku ylös vuoren vie upeat näkymät lampi. Rauhallisuus ja luonnon kauneus ympärilläsi.
White Moose -huvilassa on täysin varustettu keittiö ja epävirallinen ruokailutila. Iso kivi takka olohuoneessa, TV, langaton internetyhteys on saatavilla koko mökki ja ympäröivä. Ensimmäisessä kerroksessa on täysi kylpyamme suihkulla ja kylpyammeella sekä kaksi makuuhuonetta, mukaan lukien queen-size-vuodetta. Toisessa kerroksessa on kaksi makuuhuonetta, queen-size-vuoteet, puoli kylpyamme, takka ja upeat vuoristomaisemat. Yhteensä 9 henkilöä voi nukkua hytissä.
Screen kuisti tarjoaa erinomaisen rentoutumisen samalla nauttia vuoristomaisemat, kuunnella kuiskaus puiden lehdet ja lauluja linnut. BBQ takapihalla, ja tuolit ympärillä palo kuoppaan ovat täydellinen paikka nauttia selkeästä Adirondack taivaasta.
Mökki on lemmikkiystävällinen; Tupakointi kielletty.
White Moose on myös pelihuone, jossa on tikka, pingispöytä, ilmapallopöytä, foosball ja monet aivopelit.
Maailmanluokan hiihto rinteillä Whiteface Mountain on vain viiden mailin päässä. Olympic Placidin kylä on noin kaksikymmentä minuutin ajomatka. High Peaks retkeilyreitit ovat alle puolen tunnin päässä mökistä. White Moose -huvila sijaitsee AuSable-joella - täydellinen paikka taimenen kalastukseen. It was a nice place to stay, the area is beautiful. Nice resturant right down the road. Numerous hiking trails in the area. Some plugs are split between on/off at the wall vs at the equipment. Beds vary in hardness/softness. AC temperature control works. Two external doors, access through game room is narrow, use to open other external door to living room.

Upper Jay chalet

The chalet was exactly what my family needed. Matt was very accommodating regarding our guest count. The walking trails and access to the river were amazing. The house was very cozy, spacious and plenty of room. The screened in porch was perfect. Thank you Matt!

Eclipse viewing

The property was a perfect place to experience the solar eclipse totality! The common area and kitchen provided space for my family to relax, stay connected by WiFi, cook and eat comfortably. Lots of light and the Adirondack decor throughout the house matched the feel of the outdoor space! We enjoyed the porch, fire pit (wood available) with chairs, the trail to the beaver pond and just the feeling of privacy. Our time here was “easy”. The owner has thought through how to make a visit to his place special in a rustic fashion!

Ski trip with family and friends

Perfect place for a ski trip with family and friends. The game room was great for the kids and the property was very close to Whiteface we’re we skied. The grilling area outside was sheltered and covered so grilling during a snowstorm was no problem! The driveway was also plowed several times, making it stress free to get to the slopes on a powder day. Great trip. Big enough for two families of 4 to spend a week together comfortably!

Great place for ski/family weekend

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin. It was a great location, within close proximity to Whiteface Mtn and the village of Lake Placid. The kids really enjoyed hiking in the woods, walking down by the river, and investigating the beaver dam. We were able to make a fire and enjoy the beautiful Adirondack scenery. Fabulous House

The house had a great open floor plan in the main area with a nice fireplace. The game room in the house is great for kids. It was conveniently located to Lake Placid and Whiteface. The hosts were very welcoming and responsive.

Relaxing 2024 New Years Weekend

Our family of 5, plus 1 Goldendoodle enjoyed both the relaxing ambiance of the cabin and it's location in the beautiful High Peaks area of the Adirondack Mountains. We all enjoyed several of the nearby dining establishments and ringing in the New Year at New Vida Preserve. Whiteface skiing and awesome winter hiking are close by to enjoy as well as Lake Placid and Saranac Lake. Matt was a great host and we all hope to make a return visit.

Cozy place to rest your feet

We spent a lot of our trip out on the trails, but it sure was great to come back to a cozy home to warm up and relax. There was plenty of room for my husband and I, our two kids, dogs, and the extended family who stayed with us. Plenty of space to be together and space to be apart when you wanted privacy. Hopeful that we can return to the same spot next year!

The cabin is close to hiking and other activities, and equipped with lots of games for rainy days. Visitors should know that one of the bedrooms on the ground floor is accessed with stairs and is far from the bathroom, so not suitable for someone with mobility issues.

Nice cabin with game room for kids

The cabin was clean and updated, super shady/low light. My kids (age 7 and 4) loved the game room which was great since it rained a lot. Matt the owner stopped by for a chat (super nice guy) and his son lives above the garage. I’d recommend this place in the winter for skiing Whiteface. Thanks!

Comfort away from home

Great place to stay if you are looking for a place to relax in the Adirondacks whether hiking, fishing or just hanging out with family and friends. Fully stocked kitchen for making or grilling dinner in and entertaining and all the comforts of home. Spacious and accommodates 8-9. Easy and fast communication with host. Relaxing Vacation

We stayed at the property with our preteen, teenager, elderly parents and dogs. Very relaxing time for all. There was really nothing we had to pack because everything was provided. The owner was very helpful with any questions that we had in preparation for the trip. The first floor bedroom was very handy for my father. We especially enjoyed the fire pit and the beautiful property. We enjoyed the short drive to the lake placid attractions and my husband enjoyed the fly fishing. Matt was very good at communicating with us. Whenever I contacted them during the trip. His son next door was also very kind and helpful.

Great rental

We had a great stay! The house was nice and exactly what we expected. It was a little off the grid but very quiet and safe. There is no cell service unless you are on wifi which is provided free at the house. The drive to whiteface mountain ski resort was easy and quick. The host called me the first night we were there to check in and make sure we had everything we needed. I thought that was super nice! The house has everything you would need for your stay! I loved the screened in porch and the fire pit out back. They even had dog bowls just in case you forget them! If we ever go back to lake placid I would definitely rent this home again!

Family weekend

The house exceeded our expectations. The game room was a wonderful addition all the children spent most of their time when we were in the house in the game room. Matt was wonderful and communicated with us when we had any questions. We are looking forward to booking this again next year
