”This Villa was extraordinary and the # one thing that made it amazingly special was the kindness, graciousness, and warmth of all the team members, including, but not limited to Elissa, Francesca (5 star chef to us), Mattia, Masi, our lovely chambermaid, and the groundskeeper. A bonus was the owner and his partner visiting with us during our 4 course dinner one night, so gracious and lovely. ”This manor house offered us a nice base when we were visiting Chianti wine area. It is very beautiful and cosy, although it is not as small and home like as some of the smaller countryside hotels/pensions, it has good services, up-class restaurant, swimming pool area and nice view from the hill. In a 15 min drive there are several places to take a look at (like Siena), as well as other good restaurants and wine farms. ”

”Hotel located in the town of Sam Gimignano. You can not have a better location to all shops, restaurants, and activities. You are on the top of the hill with awesome views of the surrounding area. The service and accommodations are exceptional.”

”The address is currently incorrect, but the correct address is a few doors away. There is a somewhat narrow time window when staff are present to receive you, between 2:30 pm and 7 pm, unless you make specific arrangements with them. The room and bathroom were fine and there is a common area kitchen. If on foot, the location of the hotel within the walled historic city is fine, not far from the central square but up a hill. Restaurants are also nearby. The bus stop to the nearest train...
