Located in the heart of the Laurentians, La Romane offers direct access to Val-David–Val-Morin Regional Park, with 60 km of trails for hiking, mountain biking, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and fat biking. The “La Gillespie” trail borders the property, so outdoor adventures begin right at your doorstep.

Just 7 minutes away, the charming village of Val-David is known for its farmers’ market, cafés, restaurants, local shops and vibrant arts scene.

Nearby activities include canoeing, kayaking, fishing, climbing, downhill skiing, ATV riding, sledding, ziplining and waterparks. In summer, Lake Raymond and Lac des Sables beaches are only 10–15 minutes away.

Surrounded by forest yet close to the village, La Romane is an ideal base for enjoying the Laurentians in every season.

The entire chalet is yours to enjoy. Access is easy, with just one step at the entrance. The main floor is wheelchair-friendly, with a bedroom and bathroom conveniently located near the main living areas, making the chalet comfortable and accessible for guests with reduced mobility.

Set on a private 3-acre property at the summit of one of Val-David’s highest mountains, it offers spectacular views and direct access to Val-David–Val-Morin Regional Park. One of the highlights: relaxing in the private hot tub while taking in the incredible view.

Bedroom 1: 1 Queen bed + 1 Twin bed (main floor – full bathroom)
Bedroom 2: 1 Queen bed + 1 Twin bed (upstairs – bathroom with shower)

Bedroom 4: 1 Queen bed (garden level – shower room)

Bedding and bath towels are provided. Please bring your own towels for the pool and hot tub.

Living Spaces

The open-concept main floor features a cozy lounge, dining area and fully equipped kitchen. A spacious family room with a pool table is located on the garden level. Three bathrooms in total, including one with a bathtub.

Amenities include smart TVs with Bluetooth soundbar, unlimited high-speed Internet, washer and dryer, dishwasher, board games, high chair, playpens and stair safety gates for children.

Everything you need to cook and gather around the table: espresso machine, coffee grinder, food processor, gas fondue set, cookware and utensils, pantry basics, coffee filters and more.

A vehicle is required to get around, and ample parking is available at the chalet.

Please note that La Romane is located at the top of a steep hill.

Summer: Any regular vehicle can access the property without difficulty.

Winter: Good winter tires are essential, and a 4x4 or AWD vehicle is strongly recommended, especially during snowy or icy conditions.

If your vehicle cannot make it up the hill, you may park safely at the bottom near the road and walk up to the chalet.

👥 Occupancy & Pricing – Base rate includes up to 4 guests (ages 2+). Additional fees apply for each guest beyond this number. Maximum occupancy: 10 guests. All guests must be declared at booking. Any undeclared guest constitutes a violation of the rental rules and may result in additional fees, penalties and/or eviction. A $200 fee will be charged for each undeclared guest.

♨️ Hot Tub – Accessible and operational year-round.

🏊 Pool – Heated and available from June 15 to September 15, weather permitting, when outdoor temperatures are approximately 18°C (64°F) during the day and 10°C (50°F) at night. If you would like the pool heated outside these conditions, an additional fee of $30 per day will apply.

🍖 BBQ – During the cold season, guests are responsible for clearing snow, cleaning the grates and refilling the propane tank if needed. No winter maintenance is provided.

🔥 Campfire – Available during the summer season only, when the designated fire pit with grills is installed.

🐕 Dogs – Welcome (maximum 2) at $75 + tax per dog. Dogs must remain on the main floor. Safety gates are provided for pets and children. Please keep dogs off sofas and beds, clean up after them outside, and remove excessive shedding at checkout.

🐈 Cats – Not permitted.

🕔 Check-in / Check-out – Check-in from 5:00 PM; check-out by 12:00 PM. No Saturday arrivals or departures (exceptions may sometimes be possible upon request).

🧻 Supplies – We provide toilet paper, dishwashing and hand soap, as well as two coffee makers, filters and a grinder. Please bring your own body/hair products and coffee.

📹 Cameras – Exterior cameras only, facing the entrance. Recordings are retained for a maximum of 90 days.

📱 Pre-registration – Mandatory with ID to help prevent fraud and to provide access to the Virtual Chalet Guide.

💳 Security Deposit – A pre-authorization will be placed on your credit card on the day of arrival and released after the property inspection.
