”We loved everything about the lodge, the rooms were very clean and the rustic decor made us feel like we were right at home. The owners we very friendly and nice. We ate supper at the restaurant and it was very good. The staff were wonderful they told us a few places to go while we were in Valdez. We stayed in 8 different places on our trip to Alaska and this was our favorite! ”

”First time staying at a B&B because we like our privacy. It just happened that we never did run into any other guests. It seemed that everything that you could need or want was supplied. From multiple breakfast options (with fresh baked goodies offered in the morning- nut allergy so I couldn’t partake but they looked delicious) to bug and bear spray. Very thoughtful hosts. ”

”James and Cristina are friendly and gracious proprietors of three amazing cabins, conveniently located half way up the road to McCarthy/Kennicot. The cabins are rustic but new and cozy with everything needed for a comfortable night in the Alaska wilderness. The property is forested and beautiful on the edge of a river. They provide a separate cook house, where we were able to cook our own dinner (buy groceries in Glenallen) and where they cooked a huge breakfast for our party. Note: please take...

”we found the house to be very clean and very interesting. We had both units so had the entire house. we loved the asian decorating. You can walk to the Alyeska resort and also a brewery where you can eat at the food trucks. The living area is a little small but we managed with our group of 13. ”
