Very nice hotel in a good central location. The check-in process was especially smoothly done. We got there before the start of check-in and they took our bags and gave us some complementary cava while they got the room ready. Very nicely done!

Hyvä hotelli
Henkilökunta oli työnsä tasalla, palvelu oli erittäin ystävällistä ja hyvää. Huoneet siivottiin huolella päivittäin, myös iltaisin, jos olimme poissa hotellista. Sijainti vanhan kaupungin ja Tiuran puistoalueen välissä oli loistava. Aamiainen oli laadukas mutta hieman suppea. Kaiken kaikkiaan hotelli oli sisustettu tyylikkäästi.

Todella pieni kahdenhengen huone.
Dreamer eli standard huone ei vastannut Hotels.comin sivuilla annettuja lupauksia. Huone ei ollut sisäpihalle, jossa terassi eikä huoneen koko vastannut perus kahdenhengen huoneen kokoa. Dreamer on minusta yhden hengen huoneen kokoinen. Hotelli oli täyteen buukattu, tämä lienee ollut syy pienelle huoneelle. Toisaalta normaali veloitus suoritettiin. Kävin respassa asiasta juttelemassa. Vastaus oli, että hotels.comin tiedot ovat mahdollisia toiveita, joita he pyrkivät täyttämään, mutta eivät aina onnistu. Siisti ja kiva hotelli, mutta tämänkertainen vierailu pettymys.

Hohe Erwartungen wurden etwas enttäuscht
Sehr kleines 3-Bettzimmer, gutes aber auch etwas langweiliges Frühstücksbüffet, Spa viel zu klein mit mittelmäßigem Dampfbad und Sauna und winzigem Pool. Service war sehr freundlich und bemüht, aber manchmal auch furchtbar kompliziert. Für 5 Sterne haben wir deutlich mehr erwartet! Sehr gute Lage am Rand der Altstadt.

Very Nice Hotel
Very nice hotel in nice walkable area close To many attractions. Don't know about breakfast as we didn't try it. Later if it is Summer you might want to spend a few days on the beach at a different location

Great Location, Very Good Hotel, but not 5*
First point to make...it just doesn't look like or feel like 5* hotel. Hence felt a let down. However it doesn't mean the hotel is bad. It's very good indeed, just missing expected facilities like a proper pool. Pool is essentially a large jacuzzi. Location of the hotel is brilliant though, it is great for walk in the city. Great restaurants around, good bars and clubs too. Very good staff too. Very friendly. I got a free upgrade too, though my friend didn't. Rooms are fine too Greatest let down, infact scarily too is the restaurant. They have a good looking tasting menu, but we're told that we needed to ask for it in advance of few hours. Was never mentioned before, pretty strange too. Next we ordered from the dinner menu. Starters were fine. Main course was dangerously poor. Ordered lamb but it was with hair and it seemed like the server knew it. He took it away immediately, it really annoyed me that I was served food that was known to be bad. I was offered duck as a replacement. That was even worse, it came grossly undercooked, it was rwa and red inside and with blood oozing out. So, recommend not to try the restaurant, if you want to stay safe. Many good restaurants in walkable distance anyway.

très bon séjour
Point fort Nous avons passé 5 nuits dans cet hôtel chambre spacieux et calme pratique frigo dans la chambre, grande terrasse dans la chambre salle de bain avec une baignoire bien profonde literie confortable et chambre toujours propre .Personnel à l'accueil aimable et serviable merci à Arthuro pour sa communication en français ça aide beaucoup. Petit-déjeuner très varié avec du chaud de la viennoiserie de la charcuterie et des yaourts etc. Point négatif: dommage qu'il faut toujours déranger le personnel de l'accueil pour aller à la piscine ou à la salle de fitness. Les lattes de la terrasse sont impeut dangereuse. Dommage que le petit déjeuner ne commence qu'à 8 heure car si ont doit prendre un avion de bonheur ont aurait du partir le ventre vide.

Nos ha gustado mucho el hotel. Elegimos Hospes porque es una cadena que cuida mucho los detalles para sentirnos súper cómodos. El servicio es top . La arquitectura del edificio precioso . Bien localizado al lado del centro .

The hotel was conveniently located 5 minutes walk from a metro station. Great looking building, staff all friendly and helpful. Breakfast fantastic with lots of hot and cold options and even a cook to order menu. An unexpected bonus was a free hour per day in the spa area to use the sauna and steam room.

I think it is good but quite expensive hotel
Room standard for 5* not exceptional and not bad either. Bed was not so good, too hard for me. Bed in Sheraton was better. Service friendly and excellent. But 6€ for a beer in the bar is way too expensive and Breakfast i was expecting more for 25€. And it was quite difficult to get 1h later check out even I am Gold expedia member. Car valet service is great in the middle of the city.

Un hôtel bien situé et très agréable
L'hôtel Hospes Palau de la Mar est situé dans un quartier très agréable, à 10 mn à pied du centre de Valence et 5 mn à pied du métro Alameda. L'hôtel se situe également tout proche du Mercat Colon, où nous avons souvent dîné le soir, loin du tumulte du centre ville. On peut se rendre à l'Océonagraphic et à la Cité des arts et des sciences à pied (50 mn) via le jardin de Turia, très agréable. Nous avons apprécié notre chambre (notre statut Gold nous a permis de bénéficier de la chambre dès notre arrivée à 09h30, d'être surclassé et d'avoir une bouteille de vin). L'hôtel est calme, le personnel très agréable et aimable, le petit déjeuner excellent. La chambre offre tout le confort nécessaire. Nous n'avons pas réussi à allumé la climatisation, mais nous n'en avions pas vraiment besoin, car nous disposions d'un petit patio bien ventilé. Nous aurions toutefois apprécié un fauteuil confortable dans la chambre (il n'y avait que deux chaises). Nous recommandons donc cet hôtel si vous souhaitez bénéficier d'un endroit bien situé, au calme et proches de toutes les principales attractions de la ville.

As instalações do hotel são muito boas, café da manhã completo. Bom serviço. Único ponto negativo seria a limpeza do spa; o mesmo encontrava se cheio de cabelos com a água um tanto quanto turva. Para um hotel cinco estrelas, o quesito limpeza, no tocante as instalações do spa, deixou muito a desejar.

Rooms towards the street are loud, especially at night. Sleeping with open windows was impossible for us. We did not like the mattresses. Quite bouncy and stiff.

Very comfortable hotel in perfect location, central and quiet. Beautiful building with lovely patio and rooms. Staff is particularly friendly and service oriented. I had dinner in the restaurant repeatedly because food and service is exceptional. The Hospes Palau de la Mar was an excellent choice and I will certainly come back if I am in Valencia again.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Hotel Hospes Palau De La Mar. From the moment we walked through its stunning doors, we knew our stay would be an extraordinary one, and it was! Front desk staff members were outstanding, so kind and helpful. The room was gorgeous, peaceful, and quiet! High praise for the housekeeping team. We didn’t opt for breakfast every morning at the hotel but did enjoy it on an ad hoc basis. It was delicious, with a vast selection of beautiful foods, set in the hotel’s wonderful Ampar restaurant. The spa/gym facilities were perfect! The pool room downstairs hosts a warm and therapeutic compact pool with brilliant water jets, as well as a steam room and sauna. My children were also allowed to enjoy the pool, which was a real bonus. The area is just stunning! The metro station Alameda is located just within the Turia Gardens park, right near the hotel. You’re also within walking distance of the beautiful Colon market where coffees, Orxata, and pastries await! There are so many fabulous restaurants and cafes around. As far as location goes, it’s heaven and you’re really spoiled for choice. My two kids (8 and 12) and I walked everywhere, using the Turia gardens as our most traveled pathway. The hotel’s location made exploring this glorious city so easy and such a joy! We had an utterly brilliant time!
