”We stayed 2 nights here. It was excellent, in a great location, quietly tucked away behind the main alley through the Medina. We knew that being close to the mosque we would be hearing the call to prayer in the middle of the night, but that was OK as we were expecting it. The rooftop terrace was a pleasant place to sit and for breakfast. The staff were all lovely. ”

”We absolutely loved the ambience and decor in this traditional Moroccan guesthouse. Our room and terrace had beautiful views overlooking the city, and the staff was so helpful and friendly. The food for breakfast was excellent, and we loved the central location inside the Kasbah and near the Medina. We highly recommend this hotel. ”

”Un bon accueil, un personnel souriant, respectueux, disponible et très attentif à nos besoins. Tout est accessible à pied depuis le riad. Le riad est magnifique, la déco est sublime. Le seul bémol pour ceux qui veulent faire la grasse matinée est le manque d'isolation pour le bruit des occupants de la chambre d'à côté. Un lieu que je recommande pour séjourner à Chefchaouen en totale immersion !”

Stationnement disponible 30 dirham à l’Hôtel Parador. On doit transporter les bagages. Distance 5 minutes à pieds. Je recommande ce logement. On nous a proposé le resto Bab Ssour pour le dîner, déçus…pas les meilleurs tagines à notre avis.”

”The place over all was magnificent the staff were absolutely amazing. It was clean well maintained had a water park and midway rides but there was a horrible sewer smell coming from the bathroom that permiated everything. We had to sleep with the bathroom door closed with the fan on and all the windows open and bedroom door closed”

Forgotten pearl of Tanger
"A weekend trip to amazing Morocco. I chose the hotel based on the history and the location. The history aspect is there in full. Unfortunately this beautiful building is not maintained as it should. Its in many ways outdated and many things just don't work (electricity, aircondition etc). However, if one doesn't care the facilities but only needs a place to sleep, this a good option. The location of the hotel is perfect, just next to Medina ( the old city). The staff of the hotel is remarkable friendly and caring. Despite all the lacks and flaws I recommend this hotel to couples who are interested on history and the feeling of the real Tanger."
