”Centrally located in the Old Port, with views of the harbor, this was a last minute — therefore pricey — excellent find for a fall weekend getaway. Stylish, elegant rehab of 19th century granite industrial building. Whimsical decor notes referring to 19th century owner Evalina Fox. Nicely appointed kitchenette — though if you came to Portland for the foodie scene, you might end up just using it for breakfast, as we did. Only sour note was the disco music (coming in via the ventilation...

”We loved everything. The only thing is the mattress is a little soft and you easily roll to the middle!”

”room was very modern, however some areas did not look well cleaned (edge if the bed had some dried white liquid). the surrounding area has nice shops but is very sketchy at night. did not feel comfortable with the parking situation. also at 6am sounded like maintenance or cleaning crew was constantly in and out of the elevator making tons of noise. was good for a night but wouldnt stay again.”

”This was a super cute boutique inn and the location was ideal. The staff was super friendly!”

”Quick responses by staff! Comfortable bed! Gorgeous amenities! Loved the location was right down from Tandem Coffee!”

”Absolutely loved our suite. It was very clean and modern and had all the amenities you could possibly ask for. The gentleman who checked us in was very informative about the shuttle to and from the airport and all of our other questions. Was a great stay.”

”Very lovely boutique hotel in downtown Portland, Maine. Small rooms, and there is no storage, so you have to live out of your suitcase for a couple of days. And there is no table and only one chair so that’s a negative, if you want to work in your room or have room service, there’s nowhere to sit and eat. The walk-in range shower is great, bathroom is lovely, but the water pressure in the bathroom sink is terrible. But overall, a lovely hotel, if I stayed again, probably just for one night. They...

”Excellent stay! We were welcomed with complimentary blueberry wine and the concierge helped carry our bags to our room. Noting that they told us we'd receive a text with a link to order breakfast food, and we never received anything. Had to go down the street to purchase breakfast!”

”The room was beautiful, the whole building was cleaned extremely well. The amenities were beautiful, but the kitchen was out of many of the breakfast options, so we didn't want to test their dinner options and ate elsewhere. The location was absolutely perfect!! It was very walkable. If you plan on staying in the Portland area for your trip, I would skip over renting a car. It's a $40 daily valet and there are no alternative parking areas that we could find. It would have been cheaper to just...

”each floor had a pantry where you can make coffee. Although the downstairs coffee in the lobby emptied really fast and they didn’t really refill it very often. There’s only one elevator going up to the fourth floor, at least by the lobby. So sometimes it would get crowded. The hotel is centrally located and very close to everything. I would highly recommend.”

”Super hotel in walking distance to everything downtown”

”Great location and clean rooms. The walls aren’t very thick though so you can hear a lot. The bar is a fun vibe and the bartender, Chris, was wonderful! Great service and conversation.”

”Everything was clean and updated. All of the staff were very helpful. The breakfast was the best quality and variety I have EVER had. We did not have a chance to use the sauna or pool. I wish every hotel was this wonderful. The elevators weren’t crowded. We had an airport shuttle. Everything was positive.”
