We live on the top floor (3rd storey) with our 2 dogs and a family of cats (indoor/outdoor).
Sound travels in older homes — you will hear household activity
Washer and dryer are available as a courtesy, and not guaranteed daily.
The laundry area is our personal work/storage area.
Machine only fills for extra-large loads (guest broke the knob)
No small loads please.
The yard and garden are not landscaped or manicured.
It is a "wild urban pollinator garden" work in progress!
We are part of the David Suzuki Foundation's "meadowscaping" and "lawn share" programs and are certified by the Canadian Wildlife Federation as a wildlife habitat.
• On our property are trees that drop leaves, twigs, berries, and apples, & there is wildlife in the city; squirrels, birds, spiders, raccoons, skunks, rats, bats, and coyotes to name a few.
