”The owner was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Our room was very comfortable and the view from our private balcony was awesome! We are always on the lookout for whales and this location was perfect. We spotted about 20 separate humpback whales at different times including a few mothers with active, entertaining calves. Putting the whole experience together it was a fantastic bargain.”

”A lovely apartment overlooking Sooke Basin, clean and comfortable. The host is friendly and we enjoyed chatting with her. The apartment is on the upper floor ("eagles nest" and we saw an eagle), so be prepared to climb a long flight of stairs. Although called a B&B, breakfast is not made for guests but ample food is provided, so you can fix your own breakfast. The host went out of her way to meet our dietary restrictions. ”We can not say enough about how wonderful our stay was at this paradise of a property! Everything was flawless, and the beauty of the home decor and its view exceeds even all the amazing photos! ”It's hard to explain how beautiful the grounds are at Wetherly Inn! The hosts Merideth, Pete and Sam were really sweet and kind during our entire stay. We spent 9 nights at the Inn during our honeymoon and it was the best part of the whole Salt Spring Island experience. They have a great game room, large pool, and many private spaces for seating. I can wholly recommend staying at the inn, and this is coming from someone that does not even like travellong. ”

”It was perfect for us. We just needed a clean and quiet place to stay for a little walk down memory lane for my sister in law. It had lovely individual air conditioning units. It was so much appreciated. We are old so the stairs were a bit of a challenge but the rooster wake up call was great. We will contact the host again next time we go to the island.”
