”The staff at Marketa’s is very attentive and aims to please. Our room was very clean and comfortable with plenty of light and fresh air. It is also very close to the harbor area ( an 8-10 minute walk) so very convenient from the ferry.”

”For an older motel the room itself was clean, but could use updating, dents in walls, flooring was old. But what one would expect for a motel. Pricey for what you get, but I think everything in duncan would be similar”

”Great property, would have used the amenities if we were there longer than one night. Has everything you need (except flatter pillows. If you need a soft, thinner pillow, you may want to bring your own, or make a special request). Central location, close to everything. River access via private dock or bridge to public swimming area. Bbq, lawn area (fire pit if no fire ban). Would recommend this property.”

”An incredible location. Beautiful gardens, humming birds, ocean view, walking trails, and Cleo the lab. Kate Brown is a great hostess - regularly checking in, seeing how we were doing. Extremely quiet and totally relaxing. Will definitely stay again.”

”The room price was so so expensive compared to what we got in the room, and the rules of the accommodation was so vast and extensive. Also you have workers living there full time while you charge regular people an arm and a leg to be there for not even 8 hours. ”
