”The Painter’s Lodge was a decent place to stay at for the night. While the place is a dated and needs a few upgrades, the place was clean and comfortable. The view from the room was amazing! The beds were comfortable enough. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Overall it was a good option! ”

”The staff was super friendly. A very accommodating hotel. They were able to give us early check in and late checkout which worked great for when our flight had come in and left. Staff were able to act in a timely manner when we had stuff come up during our stay. Would definitely stay again when in Victoria. ”

”There is a courtesy shuttle, that takes you on short city trips. Great ambiance and a very pleasant experience. ”

”The view from the suite was lovely and the 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms were very convenient. Unfortunately, the decor of the room seemed very old and used and there was a musty smell throughout. Also, there was a live band playing jazz in the restaurant and we could hear it in our suite until about 11pm. That might be a negative or a positive depending on what you like to do with your evenings. Staff was helpful with moving our bags and checking us in, but overall we were a little disappointed...

”Wonderfully kept property. Beautiful view of the inner harbour. It’s quiet, tranquil and the Erickson wing is stunning. The restaurant and cafes were also delicious and well priced. Our trip was simply too short!”
