De host Daisy is top en spreek heel goed Engels. Het ontbijt was eerste klas. Het verblijf ligt 8 kilometer van het Varadero Vliegveld. Fijne restaurantjes in de omgeving waar je lekker kunt eten. ”

”Perfect for a short stay in Varadero within walking distance of the beach and a selection of restaurants. The room was comfortable, the bathroom was well-equipped and there was wifi available (unusual for most of Cuba). Plus the friendly host's excellent breakfast was a good start to each day.”

L'appartement était propre et confortable, à part quelques bruits de la route et des voisins, principalement parce que les fenêtres n'ont pas de vitres, juste des volets, ce qui n'est pas inhabituel pour les propriétés de la région. Ils étaient heureux de partager leur connexion Wi-Fi à chaque demande, gratuitement, même si Internet ne fonctionnait pas toujours - ce n'était pas de leur faute !”

”This guest house stay was absolutely perfect for our time in Varadero. The host and her husband were so warm and welcoming from the moment we checked in. We were presented with fresh juice inside their house. Our actual room was also perfect including a kitchen and patio. It was so clean and had everything we needed. We were also offered breakfast both mornings for a small charge - VERY worth it and delicious! The hosts also helped to arrange our transportation back to Havana for a good price....

”The hotel had no fault. The room and facilities were very nice, clean, comfortable, staff was friendly. Delicious breakfast and dinner in the hotel restaurant. On a negative side, I asked the staff if they could book me a taxi and they did. It turned out to be a car which did not look like a registered taxi (just somebody's car), and overpriced. ”

”Mara is a wonderful host! It was such a pleasure staying at this location A few things to keep in mind: - There's no wifi at the residence but you can purchase a cheap wifi card from a store close to the park in Santa Marta. You'll have to ask around to find out where to purchase it and where your devices will get reception - Mara doesn't cook breakfast for visitors but there are stalls and restaurants close to the residence that you can purchase food from - The electricity does go out...

”No Wi-Fi, contrary to the advertisement in hotels.com. There is a Wi-Fi connection, but you need an internet card to gain access. And even the Wi-Fi connection, you have to ask for it. It was not pro offered. The pillows were extremely thin and uncomfortable. The second bad, the equivalent of a cot, had a sagging mattress. It provided a terrible sleep. The breakfast is $5 American per person and includes coffee, eggs, with or without ham and cheese, and toast. The back patio area allows for...
