The Little House at Dutch Flats

This quaint 3 bedroom house is situated on 120 secluded acres, equipped with a private waterfall and woodlands for hiking, hunting, cross country skiing and snowshoeing. Centrally located to East Aurora, Letchworth State Park, Darien Lake Amusement Park and several golf courses. The opportunities here are endless. Whether you enjoy outdoor activities or are looking for your next quilting/ crafting retreat we've got your home away from home. This is the perfect country get away for any season.

Winter wonderland

We thought we were lucky to find a place so close to family in the area, but it turns out we were lucky to find such a charming, cozy and beautiful place in a little piece of paradise. The property was covered in snow and looked like a winter wonderland. The path to the waterfall was plowed in the morning, so we bundled up for the short hike and enjoyed every step. The house had everything you could need and the communication was simple. I hope to come back to see this place in all seasons.

Family Reunion Getaway

We were in town for a family reunion - 60th Wedding Anniversary. It was great to have our own place rather than be a burden to family hosting so many others from out of town. There were 5 adults and plenty of room. VRBO was as described, clean and comfortable. Property is beautiful. Great location. Went to Niagara Falls - which is only about an hour away. Definitely would stay again next time we are in town. Communication with owner was great! HIghly recommend.

Wonderful

Every aspect of our stay was fantastic. The property is beautiful. The house and grounds were incredibly clean and well maintained. The host is outstanding. We have stayed at many VRBO rentals this is by far the best.

Peaceful beauty

This property is so peaceful. House is very clean, well decorated and comfortable. Enjoyed the fire pit and the water falls. You feel like you are a million miles away but conveniently located close to stores to get supplies. A warm and at home feeling.

Perfect secluded retreat

I needed a true, unplugged, full vacation from work and I absolutely got that here. The house had everything I could possibly need, and the location was remote enough that I felt “away” but an easy 20 minutes into town or to the state park for great hiking. Everything was clean and operational. I didn’t have internet during my stay and couldn’t watch streaming services, but there was satellite TV with plenty to watch (and the owner told me internet was being installed after my stay). I was able to use the library in town when I needed to do something online. I definitely recommend this property and would stay here again.

Very clean and fun

We stayed in November and it was great. The house was really clean and perfectly situated between Letchworth state park (really cool), Niagra (hour away). and East Aurora is 25 minutes if you want to go out to eat. The grounds were really nice to hike around too with its own waterfall and hiking paths. Would highly recommend if you're looking to get away to open space.

Peaceful Clean and Quaint Get-a-way

We had a great stay!! It was clean, peaceful and convenient to our destinations. The owner was very receptive to our needs! Disappointed not to have more time to just spend at the rental property! Though, it is a hike to the falls and they are not easily reached by us older folks. But the younger crew climbed down for a quick wade. We would not hesitate to recommend this property and really look forward to staying their again.

Stay Here!

Plan to stay a week here! This rental home is incredibly beautiful and relaxing! Owners thought of everything to make your stay the best possible. Home was immaculately clean and wonderfully organized. The kitchen will make you want to stay in and cook. The private waterfall is a short walk from the house and definitely worth seeing. If I could give this rental and the owners higher than 5 star rating, I would!

Rested and Relaxed

Beautifully situated away from the hustle and bustle of crowds and typical tourist destinations. We chose this property because it's close enough to Niagara Falls for a day trip (the purpose of this vacation) yet quiet and peaceful enough for a pleasant get-away from the daily schedules and responsibilities. The house is tastefully decorated, well-stocked with every day needs and the grounds are well maintained. Book your stay - you won't be disappointed.

This was a great choice for us…a peaceful rural retreat but close to the charming town of East Aurora. The house is tastefully decorated, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The walk to the little waterfall is lovely, as was relaxing on the deck. Seeing windmills in the distance made this property really unique. We’re already planning our return trip!

Great place to stay!

House was exactly as advertised. Waterfall was beautiful and right in the backyard, easily accessible. Enjoyed having the firepit, nice place to relax in the evening and talk about our adventures during the day. Good location for enjoying Letchworth State Park. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect secluded getaway

My girlfriend and I spent such a great Valentine's weekend at Katelynne's house. Her house is located in rural area which was perfect for a peaceful stay and it was near popular attractions like Letchwood State Park and Niagara Falls. The house was very clean and she made us feel like home. We had such a great time. We will definitely be back!

Perfect winter getaway

The property was beautiful and perfect for snowshoeing and hiking. Byrncliff resort is a short drive away and great cross country skiing trails/ lit trails for night skiing. Had a great time all around.

Beautiful getaway

My family just relocated from Las Vegas, NV to Rochester, NY. Katelynn let us stay at this beautiful house for our Christmas. Not only was the house and grounds beautiful she even set up a Christmas tree for us!!! Can not thank you enough as my family thoroughly enjoyed it!!! Will definitely be coming back.

Get Away Weekend for Peace and Quiet

I wanted a place to get away, and this fit the bill exactly. The house was beautiful, clean and wonderfully decorated. All of the amenities of home were found there and I thoroughly enjoyed being off the beaten path for a weekend.

Great place for a family! It had everything you needed (inside and outside). It was clean and spacious; had a comfortable warm home feeling. The kitchen was well equipped with everything (even for small children). Beds were comfortable, plenty of towels. Outside lawn was manicured and great for kids to play games. The fire pit area was fantastic we were able to make smores. Property was great for hiking and had a great waterfall feature. Will definitely return!

Perfect Country Getaway!

My friends and I stayed for three nights and we’re definitely impressed. The house was immaculate and we had the whole property to ourselves. There is tons of room for lawn games or sitting outside and enjoying the view. We enjoyed hiking down to the waterfall and creek below. I highly recommend this stay!
