”The host ended up being extremely kind but we never received any communication or confirmation from the host after booking. Our rental was paid in full at the time of booking and we received confirmation from VRBO about our upcoming stay (address, etc) but no response from our host when I sent her a couple different messages. The day we arrived, we tried calling the host and got no answer but we randomly ran into her on the street near the rental. She apologized and said she was having issues...

”Great house in charming medieval town. This house has four floors and a roof terrace. There are a lot of stairs, but we knew about them ahead of time, and it was not a problem. We shopped at local shops, which are very close by, and made several lunches and dinners in the ground floor kitchen. Very well stocked with everything we needed. The town has many restaurants within an easy walk. We spent time at the nearby lake, renting a boat and having an aperitif. There are many churches to explore...

”The pictures do not do justice to this great apartment! It is fresh, modern and well appointed. Our host went out of his way to welcome us and was easy to communicate with. We were two couples traveling together and the apartment worked out well for us. The panoramic views over the old town and then the mountains beyond are breathtaking! The location is excellent for a visit to Sulmona, minutes away from sights, shops and restaurants. ”
