”I didnt like the bed bugs, or how the owner, rather than dealing with them and refunding, instead claimed i was lying, then that i brought them (this was my first hotel after coming from my home) refused to refund and made me crawl through hoops with expedia to resolve. ”Villa Casanova is a delightful small family run B and B situated close to the shops, restaurants and vaporetta stop, making it the ideal place to stay. The rooms are spotless and very quaint on the top floor. The breakfast choice is superb with all tastes catered for, cereal, fruit, hard-boiled eggs, cold meats and hot croissants. The staff was over the top helpful and gave us some good tips for the restaurants etc. We got the arriving directions to the e-mail beforehand so the b&b was easy to find. ”Small boutique hotel, practically unmarked with only a buzzer at street level—I passed it twice before figuring out where it was. It’s a beautiful 600 year old palazzo that has been renovated. Friendly staff. Rooms are clean and bathrooms fully functional. Lots of stairs so not suitable for disabled. When I had to check out at 4 am, I was told just to leave the keys in the room with no hassle. I would definitely go back.”
