”Family of 5 with 3 college age kids. This property was just as advertised. It is clean and simple but nice. Property has 2studio apartments and a rooftop terrace. No hammocks as in pics. The 3 kids took the downstairs floor with two beds and my husband and I took the second floor. No air conditioning but not needed with the ceiling fans and screened windows opened. ”This 2 story rental villa has a great view of Volcan Arenal from the second story. It overlooks a farm with elephant grass used for grazing animals. The location is about 2 km south of the center of La Fortuna, so a car is necessary. It is close to several of the tour outfitters that do canyoneering and rafting. It is initially hard to see on your first visit (look for the Sapiens sign on Ruta 702) because the group of 3 houses are set 70 meters south of the road and accessed via a thin 1 lane...

”Ken and Juan were outgoing hosts eager to make our stay great. The artisan home is welcoming. The grounds are beautiful. We appreciated the use of the laundry. "I truly enjoyed my stay. The room was spaceous and bed very comfy. There is free tea and popcorn and the terrace is a nice bonus. Breakfast was also good. Staff is very friendly and eager to help the guests. The B&B is about 5 min walk away from shops and restaurants. Altough it's Down/uphill. There is a corner shop and a soda few steps away, but I didn't try them. 4 star hotel for me. "
