”Overall this was a very clean and well kept motel with very nice updated rooms and bathrooms . The queen bed was very comfortable and there was a refrigerator in the room, however other amenities were limited, like there was no ironing board, or disposable cups in the room and no ice machine on the premises. The location is great, which is close to restaurants, shopping etc.. I would definitely stay here again since it’s well worth cost ”

”We were pleased with our stay at the Viking Motel . Check-in at 8 pm was quick and simple. The room was very clean and had tile floors throughout. The king bed was very comfortable with lots of pillows. Having a full kitchen was a bonus, even though we did not cook, but just had breakfast from the grocery store. This is an older property, but it has been updated better than many older places we have stayed.”

”property has a beaufitul, peaceful feel, perfectly located across from the beach and Ventura pier, clean pool with towels, pet friendly and attentive staff. breakfast was good and fresh but we had to wait for staff to re-fill coffee, juice and some food items. I would recommend this property and stay here myself with out a doubt!”

”Terrible stay. Dirty toilet as soon as I walked in. No air conditioning, wifi went out,no housekeeping, hidden fees. False advertisement, horrible. ”

”Reserved a king but got 2 doubles which is fine. The room was so filthy. Infested with black mold. I would never advise anyone to stay there. Very very bad”

”The hotel is absolutely lovely -- the staff were all kind and professional. We did ask about getting a different room that wasn't on the first floor in a dark corner...but the room was so cute we eventually didn't care. But if you book with a third party -- such as Expedia -- they won't upgrade or accommodate requests. ”
