Freshly refinished tile, floor, paint & finishes. Private Bathroom shower and WC-separated from sink vanity and adjoining amenities. Furnished with California theme and comfortable bed. Top grade sheets linens towels and two comfy robes.
Room has a mini-fridge, microwave, French press coffee maker, tea kettle, cutlery and dishes. outdoor is a common patio dining and sitting area. Full Weber propane BBQ and cooking tools. Welcome!
The space
The space has new flooring, new tile in the bath and newly painted on all active areas June 2023. New electrical dimmers, and lights unless the period feel of a lamp or fixture were first priority.
Clean - We have the room professionally cleaned after each guest to ensure the best experience for every reservation. Expect it to be a housecleaner just left experience. Sparkling Clean!
Driveway parking spot is for your use - private entry leads to single level property (no stairs). There is a gravel path with large step pavers, the remaining outdoor surfaces are concrete.
Garden is a natural garden with fresh flowers and farm to table simple herbs, vegetables and plants to promote pollinators in a native California garden. If you arrive when our plumeria is blooming we hope to offer that experience -super fragrant but non-native plant.
Guest access
This is for the room, ensuite restroom and backyard sitting areas (that is also used by the host). This is a large room, but NOT a suite. It does not have a separate indoor sitting or work area.

Guests staying more than ten days may utilize the on-site washer and dryer at mutually convenient times.
During your stay
We’re on-site a good deal of the time. When not around, we are always available via phone.

If you want no contact let us know we welcome your privacy as this was set up to respect that as much as possible.

We are also able to help or give you local knowledge or support.
Other things to note
After being long-term renters, we’ve purchased this house. We’re slowly renovating, which means we always have projects going on. They won’t interfere with your stay, but you may see evidence in the outside spaces at times. Your stay helps us fund these projects and is appreciated. As such, this room was the first space to be completed.

Two cats join us on the property, but are not in the room. Treats are provided in case you want to make friends with them.
