Old School Beach House

Vain kahden tunnin ajomatkan päässä Melbourne, Old School Beach House Venus Bay on täydellinen paikka paikka romanttinen viikonloppuisin, perhelomat ja aikaa ystävien kanssa. Viereisessä keittiössä on täysin varustettu jääkaappi ja pakastin, uuni / liesi, astianpesukone, mikroaaltouuni, leivänpaahdin, KitchenAid-kahvinkeitin ja ainutlaatuinen koulurakennuksen ruokakomero, joka tarjoaa kaikki paikalliset gourmet-ruoka- ja viinivarastoinnin tarpeet.

Master and Second makuuhuonetta ja varustettu queen size-vuoteet ja lattiasta kattoon liukuovet, jotka voidaan avata ulos takapihalle. Rentoudu, pysy sängyssä ja nauti näkymistä yli teepuu-puutarhan, Cape Liptrapin rannikkoalueiden varaukseen ja hiekkadyyneihin ja kuuntele alkuperäisiä itävaltalaisia ja meren aaltoja.

Kolmas makuuhuone on yksi yli kaksinkertainen kerrossänky plus vyöryä patja. Se on hauska vara lapsille ja pystyy myös majoittaa kolmasosaa pari.

Kylpyhuone / pesula säädetään wc, avoin suihku, turhamaisuus ja pesukone. Kaikki perusvaatimukset, kuten silitysrauta, silityslauta, pesukori jne., Ovat saatavilla siellä avuksesi. Talon puolelle on kiinnitetty myös liinavaatteet, jotka ovat erityisen käyttökelpoisia poistamaan rantapyyhkeet päivän päätteeksi rannalla.

Luonnollinen takapihan asuu kaunis paikallisia kasveja, teetä puita ja on kaasu BBQ ja ulkona suihku. Maalaismainen portin takana aidan avautuu Cape Liptrap vara- ja hiekkadyynejä. Upea kävellä ulos portin sisäpuolelle ja huomaat Venus Bay Beach 1, laaja hiekkaranta valtameren rannalla, joka on suosittu yhteen ja aallokko ja partioi Venus Bay Surf hengenpelastus Club kesäkuukausina.

Old School Beach House on myös 10 minuutin kävelymatkan päässä pääkatu kauppoja ja puisto lyhyen ajomatkan Andersonien Inlet Coastal Reserve.

Winter Short Stay

Everything was exactly as advertised and Michelle was just great in taking me through the set up when we arrived after dark. Nothing was too much trouble. Despite the bucket loads of rain, we got some quick visits in to some local spots, yummy town cafe and a walk to the beach but were very glad to return to a lovely warm house each time. Thank you for providing a great space to stay in.

Fabulous property- old schoolhouse

Michelle the host was excellent and very engaging. We arrived to a handwritten note and a bottle of wine. I loved how the property had been modernised on the inside but had kept some of the old features too. The house is beautifully decorated and feels like a home away from home. Because the gas and electricity was turned off when we arrived which is understandable, the hot water took a few hours to heat up from the water tank so don’t expect a warm shower when you arrive. We had a wonderful weekend and would absolutely recommend the old schoolhouse and Venus Bay beach: We also went to the shell museum at Inverloch which is a short drive away and well worth the the $2 donation per person which contributes to the upkeep of the museum. Thanks for the wonderful hospitality!

Relaxing beach holiday

We really enjoyed our stay - cosy nights and many, many trips down to Venus Bay beach, along a lovely path through beautiful flowering scrub. The house is well equipped, with comfy beds and a very pretty outdoor area.

Cosy, inviting and comfortable

Thank you for our stay at your Old Schoolhouse Beach home. The home is inviting and very very cute. Cleverly designed add on to the old schoolhouse. The home had everything we needed for a lovely stay. My kids particularly enjoyed exploring the path from the backyard to the beach, about a 10 minute stroll. The location of the house was great. Walking distance to town. Even in the middle of winter, the home was warm and inviting after a day exploring local beaches and walking trails. Bedding was comfy and kitchen had everything we needed to cook up meals for my forever hungry teenage boys. Thank you again. I will be recommending the schoolhouse to friends and family.

A great nature based getaway

The old school house has been well cared for and thoughtfully renovated. The backyard with swing & fairy lights got 2 thumbs up from the kids for tree climbing and cubby building (even in the rain!). Michelle was very helpful and responsive. Overall a cosy, warm and comfortable stay, we highly recommend!

We had a wonderful time and only wished we had longer. The sofas were super comfortable and we really enjoyed relaxing in the beautifully decorated and restful space. The location is perfect for walking down to the beach via a lovely track out the back gate. It is also within easy walking distance of the shops.

Gorgeous home away from home in Venus Bay

Loved the property and aesthetics! We thought we would be cold at night in bed with only one doona, but the quality was there and it was all we needed to stay warm. No storage for your clothes in any room at all, but for a weekend away it's not a big deal. The 2 heaters heated up the whole house very quickly and we had hot water in a few hours. Lot's of pantry staples. The outdoor area is just beautiful, we would have loved a fire pit to top it off. It was about a 15 walk-lot's of it uphill to the beach from the back gate, and it was well worth it. The beach is stunning. The locals and people staying in Venus bay were all really friendly and helpful. Close to Wilson's Prom to do a few day trips. Overall a really beautiful place to stay! Thank you!

We loved our stay at the Old School house. It has been really well renovated and has everything you need with some very stylish touches. Excellent location too— a short walk to the shops and a lovely path to the beach.

Perfect location to get away from it all and relax. The old school house was just perfect and provided the perfect destination to celebrate a special birthday with my family. Michelle was a tremendous host and always provided very prompt communication. Highly recommend.

Charming property in a great location

We had a great stay at this lovely old school house that has been renovated into a cute beach house. The beds were comfortable, but maybe for a longer stay there could have been better storage for clothing . The bathroom shower had plenty of hot water with great water pressure. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need and more. The property had good heating options for those cold days and night's. The back yard was great with fairy lights and good outside seating options . We were treated with some of the local flora and fauna and the track to the beach was a bit of fun for us all . It was also a welcome and lovely touch to see a nice bottle of red wine waiting for us on arrival. Our host Michelle was great to deal with . We would love to stay again .
