”Simply the best first night in a foreign country experience we've ever had. Jayne and Le Roux are the perfect people to work in hospitality and the attention to detail was unbelievably outstanding. The whole property is absolutely amazing and it's far more than just a hotel - the experiences offered from the meals to the wine tasting to the runner duck watching (has to be seen to be believed) are fantastic and they set the bar for the rest of our time in South Africa very high indeed.”

”Coming from the US and having heard all kinds of stories about SA, I will say this property is very safe and secure, with (free) gated parking. I had a 2 bedroom apartment that was very spacious and had a patio area and kitchen. It was enormous. The staff are very courteous and helpful, and eager to share all the great things Stellenbosch has to offer. Laundry service is a plus and so is the location—walkable to any number of great restaurants and cafes. Great value as well. Highly recommended.”

”Beautiful, clean, family friendly which means that everything closes at nine, so no late night drinks in Spier. Very friendly staff. Nothing close to this so you need a car or uber to go anywhere. Uber to Stellenbosch less than 5 euros. Beautiful wines, especially reds.”

”Loistava siisteys, ihastuttava pieni historiallinen hotelli hyvällä paikalla. Ainoat puutteet olivat käsisuihku tai bidee sekä verkkoyhteyksien hitaus/pätkiminen. Lisäplussaa tuli siitä, että saimme koko kahden viikon ajan auton hotellin parkkipaikalle ilman eri veloitusta. Hotelli on saanut laatupalkinnon 2013 ja palvelu todellakin vastaa sitä.”

”The staff was very friendly helpful. The room was huge, clean, quiet, wifi great, all the meals I had was tasty and well presented. I noticed that the service at the pool was very slow and it took forever to pick up the dirty dishes. I am not sure if the manager is giving enough guidance”
