Chalet't – Vermontville

”We had a very nice experience here at the chalet. Everything was clean and well maintained. The surrounding area was beautiful.One critical feedback item for the future… We stayed at the chalet in March, and the area was just starting to thaw from winter. I wish that the chalet had notified us that in order to get to the chalet, you have to traverse several dirt roads that were really muddy because of the rain / melting. ”Very nice cabin on secluded property surrounded by woods. Wildlife (deer, turkeys) visited daily. The upstairs master bedroom is very large and wonderful with a view of the mountains through the sliding glass door. Close (12 minutes) to Lake Saranac for dining, kayaking, etc. We would not hesitate to stay here again if we return to the region.”

”The house itself was beautiful, and the location on the lake was picturesque. There were undoubtedly several aspects that needed improvement before I could recommend this rental to anyone else. First of all, an error in the provided directions to the property caused us to travel about two hours in the wrong direction before we realized the mistake. A few key things were missing that would have improved our stay, including pillowcases on one of the beds, a coffee maker, baking trays, wine opener,...

”The host communicated well before our stay with check-in communication and throughout our stay. Check-in was also trouble free. The house was clean, comfortable and perfect for hiking adventures.”

”My husband and I stayed in the Balsam Cabin with two of our dogs. We were there on a last vacation with my oldest dog. It was a great place, very dog friendly and easily accessed by my Sr. dog. We took some great pictures out in back of the cabin which I loved. Close to Olympic training center, short drive to Mirror Lake plenty to do around and great places to eat. Cabins were clean and homey. Check in was a breeze. Will definitely stay again”

”We had a wonderful stay at this chalet. It had a cozy, warm vibe to it while having updated kitchen and bathrooms. The location was perfect for us. Close enough to walk into the shops and restaurants in Main St. We could get to the hikes and other activities easily. Communicating with Justin was excellent. He always responded with anything we needed in a very timely manner. Would definitely stay here again. ”

”Great location to the high peaks region. Lots of room and modestly, tastefully decorated. Some road noise kept us from enjoying the front porch during morning coffee but it was quiet at night so didn’t interrupt sleeping.”
