”Very high quality of fixtures and fittings in a splendid barn conversion - absolutely delightful! The location is splendid, surrounded by vineyards which you can walk around, and a delightful garden. Very handy for exploration of the Loire Valley, its towns and chateaux, and of course wineries. ”We spent a lovely 5 nights at the Gite de Cambalu which was well equipped and very well situated for visiting the towns and chateaux (especially Chenonceau) of the Loire valley. The setting in the countryside was very peaceful and it really nice to eat fresh eggs in the morning from the farm courtesy of our host. You could eat out within a short drive if you don’t want to eat at the gite. Aude was excellent with her communication relating to our visit and also had some very good...

”Place was excellent, great for a cycling trip with work mates. Slight issue when we turned up, but Giles sorted out straight away. Place was great five stars all over. The only thing that was annoying was the flies. Thousands of them. We went out and bought about ten fly strips which when we put up had hundreds of flies on them. Rooms were excellent, massive fire place which was great. Hot water always there and a great swimming pool. It was a bit damp and musky in the downstairs bedrooms....

”We have had such a wonderful stay in this cosy and well equipped cabin. Although it's small everything you could possibly need was there. It was super clean and comfortable and set in the most beautiful garden. The bathroom/shower were excellent and the bed felt very snug behind its curtains. The air-conditioning was also much appreciated. We were able to walk easily into Amboise in around 10 minutes. The vires for he deck is lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed sitting outside in the peaceful...
