Typically, I don’t leave reviews, but I’m hoping this helps both future guests and the hotel by setting clearer expectations around pricing. While the staff was kind and welcoming, and the bed and hot water were fine, the room was overpriced and not worth the cost. There is no actual ocean view, so paying extra for one isn’t worth it. Only one outlet worked (one had something jammed inside, and the outlet behind the TV didn’t work), requiring two extension cords to be run across the room to power basic items, which felt unsafe.
Cleanliness issues were concerning, including a broken razor head in the bathroom sink, broken glass and dirt in a sink drawer, and a slippery shower. Conversations were easily heard through the walls, and with no sheer curtains and only one working lamp, the room was very dark unless you wanted to open the blinds to the parking lot. Overall, it was tolerable for a one-night stay but not somewhere I’d return to or feel comfortable having children stay. The surrounding area, however, was nice and walkable.
